I just don't get the mindset of people. Its a psychological research candyland on this site.
Last Gen....
360 fanboys talked about all the great games from Xbox live arcade. Some great some good. Some bad. PS fanboys downplayed them.
This Gen....
Its completely reversed.
........ Case study after case study.
WTF does resolution have to do with anything?
Who cares about 4k textures. If the textures are crap, a higher resolution will not help.
these guys/gals are good devs but they are falling into the RESOLUTION headline war. I want devs to focus on great textures. Better lighting. Great A.I. Etc, etc, etc.
Its sad when the first info of a game deals with resolution. This goes for all platforms.
Forgot about The Thing. That was a pretty good game for its time.
I still have my 32x.
........ How many of those games have you bought/played?
Having lots of games(Wii) and having games that are of interest to lots of people are different.
Devils advocate.....
I thought it was quality over quantity? Quality is subjective though.
I play good games that look interesting to me. Nothing more nothing less. DX12, OpenGL 36....... Whatever doesn't mean a thing to me.
I will still play Halo with the current toolset if its good. I will still play the next uncharted if the PS4 isn't updated.
Its funny how spec articles get the most responses on this site.
LOL
Same thing they did with GTA IV. They funded some of the development
I will co-sign.
Devs explaining why a game is a certain fps, every other article, is different from fanboys going back and forth over minor differences.
The latter has been going on since the beginning of console gaming.
Devs have to explain their fps for every game now?
Wow, so sad.
Its not selling poorly. The PS4 is just selling outrageously great.
Sony did a great job with it, especially the pricing.
And here come the N4G sales analyst to give us their infinite long paragraphs of wisdom.
That is what I want. It would be great if you could street fight, lol.
If it can get me giddy and make me feel the way I felt the first time I played NFS underground then I'm in.
Edit: I wish I could go back to some of my gamepro.com posts, but alas :(
Many years ago I stated that my dream game would be an MMO style racing game where you travelled state to state and raced. Bought parts from different shops. Had to put up (virtual) money when you raced. I wanted a story though. Sort of like GTA. I wanted the cops invol...
I just haven't, and probably wont', get into the game on any platform.
Can anyone explain to me exactly what you do in the game.
Requires internet connection. Most people who go to these places probably don't have that, or don't have it on a consistent basis.
