HDMI provides FARRRRR more bandwidth than component ever will.
no comparing an analog signal to digital.
resolution is ALLL ABOUT bandwidth, that's why DSL is so much faster than 56k yet it rides over the same copper wire. you can pack that much more information on a digital signal as compared to POTS that could only reach 56k.
however the 360 would choke on the framerate due to its bottlenecked architecture and tiny EDRAm chip.
that's pretty bad, I only have one 8800GTX and can run it @ 1650X1080 a max settings. ATI fell off bigtime.

I think the quad core makes the biggest difference. The amazing thing is that if I max out the res at 1920X1200 it slows to a crawl, WITH 4GB of RAM!!!! this game is a HOG of all HOGS.
