Sony showed off games in February an saved stuff for Gamescom which Microsoft did not show up for. If they had showed EVERYTHING at E3 it would have been too much for one conference. Anyway last year Microsoft said the same thing and they failed to do that and in the past few years aside from last year they haven't had a good show at all. I don't think either will have a beatdown like last year though. You only get that if one company screws up royally.
I think PS4 is doing quite well. After Second Son they've had Dynasty Warriors(PS4 next gen exclusive), Final Fantasy 14(also PS4 next gen exclusive ), MLB The Show, Transistor, Daylight, Outlast Whistleblower, and more. All great games.
Foxtrot... She just left and they will be showcasing it at E3, there isn't enough time to rewrite the script and still show it off. They can change small things possibly but the overall story hasn't had enough time to be changed. It would require actors to redo mocap, and lots of other things.

The sliding cover is way better. I hate having to turn on the system to remove a disc. Top loaders ftw. Also I much prefer the LCD to Oled. It has more natural colors that aren't super saturated, less ghosting, and will have a longer life than Oled.
PS4 price drop? Usually reworked internals means not only lower power consumption but cheaper to produce. I can see a price drop certainly for PS3 since its way too high.
After Titanfall the Xbone hasn't gotten anything though. PS4 has gotten Dynasty Warriors MLB The Show and Final Fantasy most notably among other exclusive indies like Octodad. Notto mention allof the multiplatform games.

They learned their lesson by announcing things way too early with PS3 games. They are after Microsoft so I'm sure they will keep things undecided to see what's necessary to reveal. They will save things for Gamescom and TGS like always.

If Sony and Nintendo stepped down and only Microsoft were left I would hope an even richer company would step up like google.
Hopefully Microsoft steps down. If they had their way I would not be a gamer. I've always said it would be great if Microsoft stops making systems and Sega returned because Microsoft can't even hold a candle to the greatness Sega achieved but I'll take Atari too.

Yeah makes me wonder... Hype is good but if you overhype it and don't deliver it really doesn't matter how well you do because people will be disappointed. MS is talking it up but Sony is being quiet because they're smart not to get expectations astronomically high. When that happens you suddenly expect things like unannounced projects by Naughty Dog, big 3rd party exclusives, etc.
