Well looking at it like that no one is innovating. I'd like to ask you what makes you think you can't innovate technology or genres already created to new heights, because I certainly believe you can. Platformers have been around since the dawn of gaming, and user created content has been around quite awhile but the original lbp certainly was innovative.

@y7, PS4 has already had more exclusives than X1 this year not including indies so even if it has one less exclusive this holiday it doesn't mean it has fallen behind.
That surely is what it is but their bias shows as they NEVER pushed the PS3 despite it not doing as well.

Yeah sure... I'd say it's 50/50. Lots enjoyed their conference but lots didn't and there was no clear cut winner this year.
Sony didn't make their whole conference about TV and it was very short. Now it was really boring but no one is complaining because since thedir conference was longer overall they still spent the same amount of time talking about games. People didn't like Microsoft's presentation but others did and same with Sony, don't get so butt hurt about people not agreeing with you.
It's Gamestop, they've been pushing Xbox to no end and people like to claim it's because of getting more business for them but they never pushed the PS3 so hard despite it not doing as well in America. Realistically there will be a spike in sells on any price drop for any console, no one should be happy until the sells are consistently higher even after the hype is over.

Yeah like a small segment and you act like it was huge. I was bored during that segment but they didn't do it for the whole show like Microsoft did last year and they redeemed it with cool footage at the end.

@marlinfan, but no one cares about fall 2015 game either. Halo 5 would be big if it wasn't so far away, it was already expected anyway. It'd be like Sony announcing GT7 for 2016 everyone knows it will come but it won't mean much unless its this year or early 2015. Sony has had more exlusives than indies too that's not all they've had since Second Son whereas Xbox One hasn't and is losing excusives like Dead Rising and Plants Vs Zombies.
I'm sure they'll have a good E3 but how are they turning up the heat? They have been all talk so far(haven't shown much yet) and have had less exclusives than Sony too.
