The PS3 was selling more worldwide than the 360 from its first year though and only beat the PS3 one year. X1 has never come close on a WW basis.
@raggy-rocket well I wouldn't say he isn't a gamer but his whole persona seems fake to me. I'm sure he loves and plays games but his whole image seems to be put on him by higher ups to repair the damage that was done. I mean he was a big supporter of the One's original vision after all and now he is the guy who came in and saved Xbox from that? Give me a break! But I am not saying he is not genuine in wanting Xbox to succeed.

Give it up, it's because Sony is helping it out. There's no Xbox One version because PS fans were way more vocal about it. Want Shenmue 3? Get a PS4 or PC that can handle it.
I'm hoping it gets to at least 6 million but with this announcement the amount backed shot up nearly $500k. Plus there is still 14 days left and usually the last 3 days are rush days where tons of people decide they want to back it.
Their last show is Gamescom so yeah. They won't be at Paris or Tokyo.

Shenmue 3 might not be exclusive but it's never coming to Xbox, that's for sure. FF7, maybe just maybe but it won't be till after it has gotten lots of people to buy PS4s.
Godzilla, Deception IV, and God of War III for me. Most looking forward to Godzilla. I know it won't be a masterpiece like God of War but it will just be tons of fun like War of the Monsters.
And why exactly should Sony put the spotlight on games we already have seen and know are coming out? Persona 5, Disgaea 5, No Man's Sky, Until Dawn, Dragon Quest Heroes, Godzilla, Uncharted Collection, Tales of Zestiria, , Planetside 2, and lots more just this year. We already have seen lots of them and would make for a dull show.

There's a reason why they have only dropped the price in two regions. MS can't afford to drop the price in all of Europe/Asia where it's hardly a blip on anyone's radar. They will lose too much money doing that and that's why their price drop wasn't worldwide. They were only willing to lose money in places they actually kind of are doing well in.
I'm pretty sure they aren't going to have a $100 difference for just a bigger HDD. I can see them going to 350€ which will really hurt MS as official price in EU is 399. Only the US/UK have had a price drop and if Sony drops the price worldwide MS will have to respond and that will prevent them from massive firesales in the US again.
@star_lancer, pretty sure the PS1 is higher than the Wii. The analogy falls flat on its face, if people cared so much the launch PS3 would have done much better especially with everyone owning PS2s.

Please if MS were doing this you'd have articles stating how Xbox is the greatest thing since sliced bread and how Sony's days are over.
Even with three bombshells we still have lots of people in denial saying Sony's conference wasn't good.
Plus Asseto Corsa. I'm sticking with that and the inevitable GT7. I didn't really like PCars much but I'm still giving it a chance.
Well do you not see MS fanboys saying the same things? They are making ROTTR out to be the best action game ever and not giving Uncharted any credit despite the reboot heavily borrowing from the Uncharted series.
I did like the reboot, it was my first PS4 game, but it wasn't on the level of Uncharted 2 or 3.
Sony has a ton of exclusive games coming this year from 3rd parties. Why would they show us what has already been shown?
