To be honest I cant even begin to act like im excited about this game to even care about listening to the podcast. This is just another game of great potential but unpromising results.
No because its not been confirmed yet...this information was off the interview on the howard stern show...why is this not a rumor....people are lapping this up like its a fact...lol.
apoc is right....in all honesty it makes sense...its been developed on the pc...the xbox is pc friendly to develop with...makes sense if you clearly think about it and not use your bias.

Given time the ps3 can beat the ps2...problem with that is no one will sit around and wait for that potential...by the time the ps3 starts selling,xbox 720 comes out and starts up another round of "my console is better then yours"....if your statement was true the ps3 would be where the wii is....but its that mindset that put the name playstation ona console and sell it for 600$ and it will sell...we all know that did not happen.
I agree with you.....pc gaming is dying because of piracy...most people that complain about it have some games downloaded on their computers, im sure and will complain about it...but pc gaming is not the only victim of piracy....the ds and the psp are all selling above on hardware sales...yet have quite low software sales...this cant be good for our hobby...something has to give.

As I have been saying..if it cant fit in your pocket, the japanese are not interested in it....this hurts the ps3 more in my opinion because of the simple fact that it is a homegrown piece of electronics that comes with many extras but as we speak those extras are not sparking interest in it.
Imagine if this xbox update was announced in 2007 and we have been waiting for it until now....First time I ever heard of this update was at e3 which was smart.

there is no way the ps3 stays in its current state and be the multimillion seller the ps2is...a faster blu-ray drive...more ram and it quickly becomes what the ps3 should of been in the first place.
Back on topic...this Kid was pretty stupid...he managed to put his wow character on ebay yet he had to take his ps3 to gamestop and get cheated. his mom is a well paid reporter why could he not keep both?

Congrats for you on owning all the consoles...I only own the ones I think are relevant at this point....the wii,psp,ds,and xbox...I dont know how you played gears of war with just a lancer...there were many times I used the shotgun in single player mode....sounds like you played a one dimensional game...thank god multiplayer saved gears of war for me cause thats all I played for 3 months straight. what is m$ qa department...are you trying to say research and development..which in fact I do ag...
Im not too happy with developers taking out promised options and adding them later.....sounds familiar and I hope this trend does not continue with future projects.

I just cant understand how people are saying this game looks like crap or its just gears 1.1...theres new ways to play the game...weapons...tactics... There are only a couple of games I have pre paid for this season....fable2,fallout3 and this game. of course this game will also live up to the hype with double the installed base of the first game.
You say xbox is dead in japan yet fail to also mention that the ps3 has the same drops and spikes like the xbox...ps3 and the xbox are both dead. Be a fanboy....own one console or own them all...it dont matter. One mans purchase wont win the war...price and games will.
