Point being your analogy sucks. The PS3 has stood its ground against hackers for a LONG time compared to most types of devices. Therefore, its security must have been pretty DAMN GOOD!

Its hard to tell, especially because of the crappy pictures this guy put up that are blurry as all hell. Anyways I think at this point the major changes are in the animation system and streaming animations (like backing away from fire, etc.)
You really have to see these games in motion side by side to see the differences. As far as pixels, there isnt too much of a change right now. Im sure in the next eleven months that will change though!

Ya i've been following what he writes on neogaf (whole pages of info at times)...its pretty impressive how in touch he is with his fans. I've never seen any other dev put anywhere near as much effort into getting involved in the community as he has. Im buying his game just for that (and cause twisted metal is awesome ;p)

And thats not including multiplats. Gears is really the only blockbuster title for the 360 next year.
To me the lighting seemed a lot better on the ps3 shots, which makes the farther away shots look better.
However, when its up close, that same brighter lighting takes away from some of the texture detail on the faces.
