While the cell was a factor in the ps3 initial price, far and away the biggest burden was blu ray. Do you remember how much blu ray players cost back then?? They cost more than the ps3 itself!
Next gen they wont have this worry, plus if they use a derivative of the cell, it will be even less expensive for them. I wouldn't count out the ps4 as being a power house yet.
My biggest problem with dd is that you dont have a physical copy...duh lol
What im saying is, its way better to have physical copies of stuff...dvds, cd, old records, games. Its just more gratifying, and no one can ever take them away from you or permanently ban you from playing it. No way of losing it to hard drive crashes, etc.
To me, its FAR more convenient and easy to use solid media.
Uncharted 2 was my favorite multiplayer of ALL time...so take it from me...Clizz is right. The few additions that they made such as sprint, side-to side recoil, and nerfing of the guns totally made the multiplayer feel like a different game. In a bad way.
Uncharted 2 just felt right, and I hardly ever got frustrated in that game. Now, its run and gun all day long.

so you think ngp would look even remotely good hooked up to a 50 inch plasma? No way. It's not technically as powerful as a ps3. It has the graphic fidelity of a ps3 because its on a 5 inch screen.
how could a portable device possibly be more advanced than a xbox 360 or ps3 though? That would not be a step forward.
