Didnt xbox get "hacked" as well?
The X1 OS is not exactly W8, it is a heavily modified and stripped down version, MS will carry on modifying it over it's life cycle by adding new features and upgrading existing parts, but you cant say it is W8,W9 or WX. It's just the X1 OS VX.X.
What? lol, get real.
My PC is permanently connected to my TV in the lounge, W8.1 takes about 30 seconds to boot to desktop, open Steam, select game, play game, round about 2 mins in total, all done from the comfort of my sofa.
From my experience of my PS4, it's about the same amount of effort and time(maybe a little quicker)
All the steps mentioned in the article are a one off and do not require to be done everytime you want to play a ...
Just got a facebook post from Sony, 18th November.
Oh man, motionjoy was a major pain in the ass, if your internet ever dropped, you could not use MJ.
I did buy a wireless 360 pad for the PC but didnt last very long, just found it not very ergonomic in my hands and also the left stick position gave me major thumb ache after about an hour of gaming, thats when i found MJ and started using that instead, just bought a cheap DS3 from ebay.
"That's a lot of messing around with drivers"
No there's not, It literally takes seconds to install the drivers, overall it takes around 2 mins to get full functionality for the DS4.
If you want to customise the pad further ie: light colours, rumble strength, Touchpad sensitivity, it takes around 10 mins.
I currently have my DS4 light set as the battery meter and use the touchpad as a mouse.
I have been using this pr...
I kinda wished that i had waited for reviews of Watchdogs before i bought it, i spent £45 on it via Steam and was very very disappointed with the end result, had i read the reviews beforehand, i probably would have waited for a Steam sale before i bought it.
I obviously got caught up in the hype generated by the game and paid dearly for it.
So in answer to the headline.
Yes, review scores do matter to an extent.
I pre-ordered watchdogs on steam to get the digital bonus stuff, wish i hadn't. Paid £45 for a pi55 poor console port, should have waited for the reviews first.
While the DK2 is an amazing piece of kit, i agree with you.
1080@75 is not good enough for VR, it needs to be at least a 4K screen. I have been loving Elite:Dangerous using the DK2, but damn is it pixelted to hell, it's like playing the original Wing Commader at some points.
We are already seeing 2.5k phone screens being demoed by some manufacturers, so hopefully by 2016 the CV1 will be 4K & wireles.
I have this, pretty cool. Dodging bullets Neo style is amazing.
@mhunterjr
I have already said this and will probably say it again sometime soon. MS's cash register not going "Kerching, Kerching" is what made them listen.
They had the arrogance to ignore what the gamers really wanted by trying to impose draconian DRM and trying to manipulate the trade in market to there own greedy needs.
I remember playing Robocop on my Spectrum 128k, i would sit there for 15 mins as the game loaded. The general rule was, that you could not leave the room as the game would crash if you did. Lol
Gonna give this a miss, already played it on X1, mediocre at best.
Double standards my friend.
Anyone remember Brut aftershave from the 80s, this reminds me of that lol.
Surely, you would do the bottle green and not PS blue?
Cant wait for this to hit PCs, should put an end to poorly optimised games(looking at you ubi and ea)
It's not very good TBH, ubi need to do ALOT of work to fix this game.
This went from a "guaranteed purchase" to " pick up for £5 during a steam sale".
Massive downgrade from e3 2013.
Driving mechanics are similar to Watchdogs(like driving on ice)
Graphics are definitely last gen.
Didnt Logi come out and say, there wheels wont work because the PS4 needs to read a security chip built into the wheels? Obviously all
Logi wheels dont have this chip due to being old & Logi dont make wheels anymore.
What??
I so want this game, but i am gonna wait for the reviews, i got burnt big time with Watchdogs.
