Both Sony, EA and MS are charging at least an average of £15 extra for a title.
GTA V is £55 pounds on PSN and XBL, the cheapest i have seen for a hardcopy is £37.99.
It's a massive con from all, the worst culprits are ea, who want us to pay £55 for a PC game!

W8.1 is a massive improvement over W8, the ability to turn of that stupid metro tile thing is a blessing, the worst decision that MS ever made.
I bought my X1 a few weeks back and the metro UI is really getting on my nerves, so frustrating and cumbersome to use. Thank god it allows me to pin stuff at the start.
Oh man, the Amiga days were the best, i still boot up the beast every so often to get my fix, the emulators just don't match it.

OT: As for AC:U, i actually cancelled my pre-order the day before UK launch after hearing all the problems, hoping to pick this AC:U during the winter Steam sale for peanuts.(assuming the game is actually on there by then)
AC:U comes out in the UK on Friday, i just cancelled my pre-order along with Farcry 4 as well. Damn lucky i was allowed to.

Yeah, it looks good, but at what cost, the guy commentating mentions that he is running two gtx980's in SLI at 1080p and is only getting 75fps, he also mentions both cards are running around 80%, i mean WTF?!? That just stinks of poor optimising.
I just got a GTX970, my hopes of running this game on ultra settings just went out of the window.
I remember the days when games were made for PC and then ported to console, not this console to PC port crap.
I have been loving this game with the Rift, changes the whole dynamic completely.

I have a 65" 4k TV, to which my PC is hooked up to.
Did mine today, took me no more than 5 minutes to download and install.
How much did this series cost to make?
I would rather they spent the money on creating new first party games TBH.

They still haven't appeared on UK version of Steam.
Tbh, i didnt think shadow of mordor was that graphically impressive, even with the ultra textures installed.
I got both ACU & Farcry 4 for only £37 from the Indian Origin store, using hola i saved myself alot of money.(considering origin uk has these games for £50 each.
I can send messages instantly with no problems, never tried party chat, so cant comment on your other problem.

Black Flag supported the PS4 controller without the need for the ds4 tool. Even the touchpad button worked for opening the map. The only thing missing was the Playstation button symbols, instead it displayed Joy1, Joy10 etc for button prompts.
