MS said in october they "NEARLY" SHIPPED 10m consoles, vgchartz has them at 7.6million sold, Sony said they shipped 14.5 in september, vgchartz has sales at 14.4m sold.
We all know vgchartz undertracks PS4 and overtracks X1.
3 of us explained this to you in another article, so please stop using that 10m as sold to customer.

I own both consoles actually.
I thought all X1 games used MS's dedicated servers regardless of exclusive or not, wasn't that one of the brags that was being used as a selling feature of the X1.
That's frickin amazing considering the US was a Xbox stronghold last gen.

MS said they have "nearly" hit 10m shipped(around 7.5m sold to customer), Sony have shipped 14.5m(with around 12.5m sold to customer)
Once the X1 returns to full price in Jan, those sales will take a drop. Also, lets not forget that Sony has the GTA5 bundle, that is going to shift alot of PS4's over thanksgiving, plus we have yet to see what is going on during the Playstation Experience.
Cant the same be said about Sony and Evolution with DriveClub?

I have worked in the IT sector for a long time and deal with MS on a daily basis, all i can say is, MS customer service is terrible, there solution to 99% of problems is to upgrade to thier latest packages.
It is so infuriating sometines.
Yeah, i'am not a fan of the x1 ui, i find it a bit cumbersome to use, i installed a few demos from the store, i kid you not, it took me 10 mins to find them,i had to google it as well.
For me PS4 and PC, got my X1 about a month ago and hardly touch it, just got bored of FH2 and nothing else interests me so far, also i am not a fan of the UI, which i find to be clunky and slow.
Looking forward to Quantum break though.

Tell that to the shareholders who invest billions in MS, besides, the PS4 doesnt exactly need a price cut, it's selling like hotcakes at it's current price, 500k units global a month.
MS needed to do something to shift units, they dropped kinect and gave it a price cut and it worked, but the real question is, will sales continue when inevitability, the price will return to normal in Jan.
Not surprised they didnt offer anything significant, the amount of money MS must losing with this temporary price cut and free games giveaway.
Still I'll give SSO a go at the weekend, been on the fence about it.
