Two ASUS Strix GTX970's in SLI at £300 each, have everything set to max, runs perfectly at 1080@60.
Saying that, i did have issues at the start to get it to run in full screen, but a driver update sorted that out.

You'll be fine, even though i have two of the same cards as yourself, i ran Shadow of Mordor at full settings(with extra texture pack) at 4k around 45-50 fps on a single card before Nvid released the SLI profile.
Pretty sure the card will handle anything you throw at it with a 1080p res.
Not true, i had a old 670 with 2gb that could do 1080@60 comfortably.
I have two of there Strix GTX970's, brilliant cards.
For your specs, you should get a slight increase in framerate, anti aliasing should be better and the higher textures should also be noticeable, but of course, it all depends on your settings, but you wont get a massive jump over the PS4 version.
I'am in the same boat, i also have it on PS4 but have decided against getting it on PC for now, i will just wait for a Steam sale and get it for a cheaper price.
Yep, every time i play that bit, i have a lump in my throat, first time i played it, i had tears in my eyes. One of the best games i have played in my 30 years of gaming.
Urr, no you dont, the only DLC you need to buy is tracks and cars. Weather and replays are free updates.
Kinda wish i had waited longer to buy the X1, i have only ever had two games for my X1 since last October(FH2 & HMCC) and one of them came free with it, nothing has appealed to me to buy another Xbox game.
Only thing i am looking forward to is Quantum Break, just hope that does not get delayed.
Used it a couple of times when it first released, but never really went back to it after that, thought it was a bit pants TBH.
Dont get me wrong, i did like the concept, but i felt Sony never really put there full backing behind it.
I own both, i would say the opposite to you, Killzone, Infamous, Driveclub, The Order, Bloodbourne are the better exclusives with Uncharted 4, Gran Turismo 7, Wild, Tearaway, Rapture among the many to release over the next few years.
The UI on the X1 is so cumbersome to use(pinning is a god send), Trophy and Achievements are the same(pointless on both consoles), gonna disagree on the controller as well, the new DS4 is a dream of a controller feels a lot more sturdier and bett...

Reading between the lines, basically, he cant be arsed to learn something new and wants the easy (less performance) way.
The X1 is far from perfect, just as the PS4 is far from perfect(cant say for the Wii U).

Yep, one of my main pet hates with the X1 is the god awful slow UI and the useless squares full of ads for games and TV shows.
MS seriously need to redesign there UI to be more efficient and faster.

I shouldn't have to though, i only bought it the day before(18 hours in fact), I bought a large screen TV last year and it went down in price by £150 one week later, John Lewis had no problems whatsoever in refunding the difference back to me there and then.
I just think i got a jobsworth who didnt want to refund the difference.
Not many people know that EU consumer law gives the customer alot of power, 90% of customers ...
I actually bought one on Thursday(day before price drop) then found out on Friday that Sony were dropping it to half price, went back to Argos for a refund of the difference and they would not do it.
It was only when i kicked up a fuss and started to quote European consumer law and getting trading standards involved did they relent.
One for customer power...
Only issue i have had with an update was the Rest mode loop error on one of the previous updates, Sony sorted that in a couple of days.
Been smooth sailing with this update, not encountered one problem.

Plenty of good racing games out there other than Forza.
I myself have been playing Project Cars for a while now(in my opinion it is way better than Forza), Asseto Corsa, Driveclub, Gran Turismo, iRacing.
