I don't understand this thing with people comparing 3D with VR, both are completely different.
You don't have to "suit up" to play VR, you slip the visor over your head, bang, you are ready to go, jeez, making a mountain out of a molehill lol.
Who says you have to use a motion controller while playing a game? I use a DS4 while playing GTA5 and Alien Isolation, there are loads of VR games on the PC that use a bog standard controllers. ...

Clubber dude, gotta agree with kraenk on this one, been gaming for around 30 years myself, ever since i watched Star Wars as a kid, i've wanted to fly a X-Wing into battle, guess what, last year that kinda happened for me with Elite:Dangerous, the Rift, a Hotas joystick setup and a sofa, it was an amazing experience.
