I never said Steam OS was the dream OS, but it has potential.
I understand that current windows games have to be streamed onto Steam OS, but all future AAA games will have linux support and run perfectly on Steam OS. That is what interests me.

Dude, i am not trolling here, but if Two GTX Titans(9tflops combined) in SLI running at 30fps struggle at 4k, what do you think the X1(1.31tflops) will run like at 4k.

Dude, Steam OS will be a stand alone system that can run Linux games, both Nvidia & AMD have promised in the future that they will support Steam OS with graphics drivers, Valve has also stated that many big devs are on board with Steam OS.
Mantle is a big game changer, that API is gonna change alot.

W8 maybe the most efficient windows OS, but it aint the most efficient PC OS.
With Mantle being a Linux built API, Steam OS is going to be way more efficient OS aimed purely at games.
I just hope Steam OS can root out all these problems.
I currently have W8 on my gaming PC and am totally fed up with it, as it is purely used for gaming only and nothing else, alot of the resources are being wasted on redundant background tasks. Also the UI is bloody appalling!
While I agree with Iamnsuperman's points, I also kinda agree with the score, to me this is a 7 - 8/10 game.

Two Nvidia GTX Titans in SLI can just about run 4k with a comfortable FPS. Combined you are looking at least 8tflops between the two, compared to X1's 1.31tfops.

Both the PS4 and X1 use their own custom low level API's.
The whole point of TLoU is that it is a survival horror, every single one of your actions has a consequence.
Checkpoints are placed far apart to build tension and fear, conerstones of survival horror games.
The pace is slow because you have to think about your actions and not go in guns blazing.
I suspect the type of game you are looking for is either dead rising or COD black op zombies.
