That was always a bugbear of mine when the PS3 first came out, i had just bought a brand new Sony 7.1 amp and was looking forward to seeing DTS-HD & True HD flashing up on the display, alas all i got was Linear PCM. I know the PS3 does the decoding on-board and then sends the signal to the amp but damn, i had dropped alot of money for amp side signal decoding.
Like the last game, this game only has two views, bumper view and behind view, both are awful views to use, why not put in a bonnet cam or something.
Just shows that this game is a direct port of the last gen game with slightly updated graphics, really lazy from EA, i mean they cant even be bothered to optimise the PC version to run at 60fps.

Look, i would love the ability to have MP3 and DNLA on PS4, but at the beginning of this year with all the facts of MS placing the multimedia aspect of the console above the gaming side riled alot of gamers.
As you know, there was a massive backlash from gamers saying they wanted a more gaming orientated console and less of the multimedia.
Sony listened to this and gave us the console that we had asked for, a console geared towards gaming.

I am a massive GT fan, micro transactions in any form whatsoever are wrong.
I would say the majority of GT fans will never use MT to gain the upperhand, there is nothing like the feeling that you have earnt the cars you own.

I used my 10" tablet to play Beyond, was a really good experience.
Although I will not be getting my PS4 until next week, there is nothing that I have read or seen that has put me off from buying the PS4, sure it has a few problems here and there, but 100% sure Sony will sort these problems out soon enough with firmware updates.
I've said before, I am not buying the PS4 for launch games but for the likes of Uncharted 4, GOW, Driveclub, Second Son and TLoU 2.

Been trying to play this game for the last hour or so, bug ridden as hell, first time i started it, it crashed to desktop, having a few other graphics glitches as well.
I am currently re-downloading it from Steam again, to make sure it isn't a dodgy download.
My PC is a top end set-up, should play this with no problems.
I encountered this glitch as well, lucky there is a fix.

My launch PS2 sits proudly on my TV stand, next to it are my launch PS3 and PC , It will also sit proudly next to my PS4 in a few weeks time.
If i had room, my PS1 would be on there as well.

Bitstream is for optical 5.1 channels only. PCM is for HD 5.1/7.1 streams.
If your PS4 is plugged in via HDMI into an amp select PCM, if your PS4 is plugged in by optical cable use bitstream.

Well, leave it on linear PCM as you are getting 7.1, you only get 5.1 with bitstream.
