Loot boxes are just Gachapons that remove the ability to buy the desired item you want outright.
You know, that awful business model found in eastern FREE to play MMOs

I give Sony and Nintendo a free pass because they give me actual reason to own their consoles. After all, I've got a large collection of games I can't play anywhere else.

But Microsoft aren't giving me any reason at all. I feel like my cheap Xbox was a wasteful purchase, the only exclusive I've played has been Sunset. Everything else I can either emulate, or the franchises are coming to PC.
So, when instead of making great titles they decide to jerk...

Why would you be hyped for a game you can already play on your PC right now, at a higher resolution and better settings than the Xbox X will ever manage?

People are too stupid to stop buying into anti-consumer methods. The truth is that the consumer can push the line as much as the publisher.
If loot boxes became a guaranteed way to sell 0 copies of a game, publishers would stop adding them in. If after that consumers stopped buying games that had day 1 DLC outright, publishers would stop adding that. Sure they'd find ways to replace that greedy practice, but aside from that the consumer can always push back.

"Nor do I own a gaming PC for emulators"
What planet are you living on? Emulators don't require "gaming" PCs to run on. Hell, old smartphones can emulate NES, SNES and GBA games with no difficulty. You own a smartphone that isn't 10 years old right? If so congratulations, you own hardware capable of emulating SNES games.

This is why the mini-SNES is terrible. It does not cost that much to provide hardware to emulate those games. Nor do y...

People prefer an overpriced box that has a limited amount of SNES games, versus a handheld device that can emulate pretty much the entire SNES library? Yeah that's totally not a stupid decision.

You traded a portable system with games that can't be emulated, and can also be homebrewed to emulate both SNES and a wide variety of titles.
...For an overpriced non-portable Linux box that plays games that you can emulate with a 15 year old budget PC for free.

That isn't a worthy trade, that's one of the stupidest consumer decisions I've seen since people preordering the Xbox X. I hope that your Vita actually goes to a good home where people will...

Hunting games have never been about open world though, and for good reason.
It's always been mission based instances and there's nothing wrong with that.

It's super quiet because it's never turned on thanks to no games.

"Eventual extra possibilities"
I don't know, like an actual exclusive game released for the Xbox that isn't Forza?

Neither is better for 4K.

Let me put this straight. If you care about graphics, you build a PC. If you pick anything other than PC you don't care about graphics, and if you claim you do then you're just a brand loyalist or an idiot.

Imagine being offered three different cars. Car 1 and 2 drive at 60mph. Car 3 on the other hand, drives at 120mph.
You walk into a dealership, claiming you care about speed. Would you pick car 1 or 2? No.

They don't have an advantage when compared, that's just a combination of paranoia and leftist lies.
You know why? Because if they were accused of denying someone a job due to those factors and it found out to be the truth they would be in so much legal shit. There are laws against this.

The whole "heterosexual white people have a leveraged position" is a myth. It's an image you created in your head along with the rest of the left. And then whe...

"Google specifically highlights women, people of colour, LGBTQ people and people with disabilities as “underrepresented groups” in the games industry."

Why should we care if someone is a woman, person of colour, disabled or LGBTQ(insert additional 50 letters)? If they want to be a developer they should be given the same options as everyone else, not elevated or rewarded. You want to make games or apps? Tough shit, so does everyone else. Some people slave away maki...

The few remaining first party studios Microsoft own are awful, this includes 343i. Either disown the studio and give the IP to a new one or have them make a new IP (which is risky given they were literally created to make Halo games after Bungie left and have no experience in creating new IPs or anything outside of Halo for that matter).

Spend less time making gender neutral bathrooms, ugly characters and remove that awful loot box system then i'll consider looking at it. Tribes and Quake are better movement heavy shooters anyway, it's not like Lawbreakers is anything original.

I agree that Nintendo arguably won E3, but everything else has been a complete lackluster.

Nintendo > Ubisoft > Sony > Bethesda > Devolver > MS > EA

"A PC with matching specs will cost a lot more than a X1."
You're right in the regard that in order to get a PC that matches or is more powerful you need to spend an additional £100 minimum.

HOWEVER you forget to factor in long term costs. To play online with the Xbone you'll then need to pay an additional £40 a year (minimum) - a cost not needed on the PC.
Within two and a half years (not even factoring better software value on...
