Actually, it's 41m consoles connected to PSN. You do know there are some people on other countries that doesn't have or cannot afford an internet connection.
That doesn't sound good. Epic should remind themselves that quality > quantity.
Resistance 3 will be a great game campaign wise and MP wise but it's hard to ignore it's flaws.
1. Few Players in MP compared to R1 and R2 - Resistance MP is known to be chaotic. Take that away and it will just turn into another shooter. R2 while wasn't as good as FoM was able to do 60+ players similar to FPS games found on the PC. If they are doing this for balance then I don't mind but at least they should made R3 16v16 with bigger maps and it will make ev...
I wouldn't recommend a 450 GTS because it's weaker than 290. Just get the X80-X90 GTX cards because those are the true enthusiast cards.
The game hasn't been released yet.
Did Fox News did a story when Persona 3 was released because it contains teens shooting their heads? I doubt they will do a story for a niche title. They should stay away from gaming.
Crysis 1 also had those popping but the draw distance is better compared to Crysis 2.
Quite a stab EA gave to Acti.
It's kinda odd because Skyline runs so smooth while Pier 17 drops at unplayable framerates. There might be some problems with my GPU driver or Crysis 2 hates SLI. Anyway, I'll try to find a solution to the problem.
I'm using an i7 860 @ 2.80GHz. I turned off Hypertreading because it might be the source of the problem. No good. I've also tried overclocking to 3.2GHz but I fear my processor might fry so I didn't continue.
I also have 2 GTX 260s SLI. Maybe that is the problem. I forced AFR2 in the Nvidia Control Panel for the demo.
Can anyone suggest?
The game does look amazing but Pier 17 kills my framerate for some reason. Playing Skyline is silky smooth in 60fps 1080p Hardcore V-sync.
Valve are the ones who controlled the FPS genre.
Maybe because Americans think they are superior to others? It's not just applicable to Americans but to other countries as well. Superiority complex or there are some other reasons.
In multiplayer FPS games, they think that they are superior to anybody they pawn. That's why there are a lot of people trash talking and raging on online games.
Yeah, because even when they just rehashed the same outdated engine. It will sell 10m+ because of those CoD fanboys who just buy anything with a Call of Duty name on it.
Better games got shoved aside although they try(and sometimes succeed) to improve everything from their predeccesor.
It's just Acti/Sledgehammer/IW being greedy. They know the game will sell even if the game engine is outdated compared to Frostbite 2, Cryengine 3 etc.
I'm just going to repost my previous thoughts regarding the MP demo.
1. Console Port confirmed - Auto-aim, press start button etc.
2. Simplified Powers - It's not that bad but takes away the challenge that was present in Crysis Wars where you have to manage your energy and activating the correct power.
3. Pier 17 - When I played Skyline, my framerate is steady 60fps no drops at 1080p Hardcore. Then when I play Pier 17, the game ...
It's a nice train now
My complaints on the PC Demo
Then when I play Pier 17, the game drops to an unplayable 15-20 fps. Wtf?
We also thought that the PS3 will dominate this gen like how they dominated the last two. The market is unpredictable so no one can tell what will happen in the future.
I just looked at MyCrysis.
It looks like the official Crysis website/servers are currently experiencing heavy traffic so creating new accounts is currently impossible.
That sucks because I want to play C2 MP right now.
*Goes crying on a corner*
Where is the resident evil game that is supposed to be coming out on the PSP?
