If GT5 isnt out by christmas I am actually going to cancel my preorder.
Sure im hanging out for the game, but ive got a $100 sitting there I could actually use to buy a game.
And if it hits after christmas I actually think GT5 is going to lose a lot of sales. I know some pretty avid GT fans and we are all kind of at the point that we dont really care any more. Like all things, you can only disappoint your fans so much before they stop caring.

It's my fault they built a game on UE3, they hyped up the graphics to be the next big thing, failed, released a boring demo with characters that showed as much depth as a frying pan, and slagged off the PS3 for 12 months?

Agreed. I didnt know the game was in 3d. If they fix those few problems with a patch im gonna snap this up because 1) I know how much of a workout move games can be, and 2) I need MOAR 3D!!!
Im really liking iWaggle 3D. Seems to be one of the few places to find fair reviews and articles on motion control games and 3D.

One of the scariest moments in a game for me is running through the buildings in chicago in Resistance 2. Its pitch black, your torch does shat, and you are constantly waiting for a grim to come charging out of the darkness.

The numbers are that close, does it really matter if one reports shipped, one reports sold? The term splitting hairs comes to mind.
Even fanboys should be able to accept that the consoles are basically at parity as far as sales go.

What worries me is all the pr crap we are hearing from ms. Why have we still not had any real reviews? All we hear is different execs saying their product is going to sell the bestest. Shows how much faith they have in the software hey?
Oh come on! As a gamer I feel Nintendo should be run into the ground. They are single handedly responsible for the pussification of gaming.
If Sony doesnt rebuke this in the next 24 hours I might go and pre-order it again.
Then again I might not. My excitement for GT has faded. It's just a game and it's just not worth putting the energy into something so fucking unreliable.
