Apparently its a completely unplayable broken mess currently - so wait a month for patches on this one.
Aww yee 5th person perspective let's go Resident Evil reinvent the gaming wheel again.
And only snippets of SH4, maybe a quarter of Homecoming.
They already realized 2 decades ago the franchise couldn't just keep doing the town over and over. We're probably getting remakes of SH1/3, how many other ways can you see the same town? Using the concept and branching out into other locations, characters and time periods only makes sense for any franchise. Resident Evil left Raccoon City behind forever ago. Plus, except for 2 examples they've always been original c...
Isn't that bad - 3/10 for a slightly awkward user interface. What a joke get out of here with your dumb clickbait.
The game needs some balancing and tweaking but it's perfectly enjoyable, looks good, runs well, has interesting and deep mechanics and is fun. This snobbery is ridiculous.
Firstly, there is no woke - just a strong sense of immersive realism.
Secondly, this is an article about how amazingly high the ratings for this game are - the opposite of your point, I believe.
But do keep on being a complete idiot nonetheless, it's very entertaining. 😊
Looks like utter shite. All the characters are way, way off, and the characters they even bothered to include are dumb decisions. Why is Roland the comic relief, why is Tina in the main group and just looking like a lost regular kid, and why the hell is Krieg there but not, say, Mordecai Brick or even Maya? Who is even the antagonist? What a waste of time. Looks worse than Raccoon City.
Who makes these choices honestly. If they can't figure out after all this time all audiences w...
I'd give my left nipple for an official RE2R VR mode. Praydogs was good but the real deal would be incredible.
Shame they don't seem to have any interest going back to these releases. RE7VR even already exists just tweak it and pop it on PSVR2. Nnngggg.
This was always the plan. We're seeing it more and more (Tomb Raider Trilogy Remastered is another example) and it's a new nefarious industry practice to scoop more money. Simply, they know there's a decent crossover between people that want to play the game close to release, and people that prefer collecting physical media, and they know they can get two purchases with this tactic from the same individual.
Release digital only, insist it'll never be physical, wait a ...
This is literally just a normal month games drop except a few niche extras for premium subscribers. Heck off Sony what are you playing at.
No it ain't AMiles. Keeping the budget low doesn't please the folks that want RE2R quality but it does help keep the risk down on an unproven franchise and release. Maybe if the sales are great we'll see a bigger investment on the next title - it's just a SHAME Konami came out swinging with this title, on this budget, 12 years after the last franchise release instead of saving it for a series sales high point they worked up to - ala Capcom and RE. But we can lament what could ...
While an expectation of the highest quality for such a revered title as SH2 is entirely valid, I feel that the comparison to the likes of RE2R/RE4R is a little steep. Capcom, Konami ain't (these days) and likewise, the SH franchise ain't nothing to the likes now in comparison to the juggernaut which is the RE franchise. A tempered level of expectation would do your appreciation that we're getting something at all a significant justice.
While from the shadows I often agree...
Good response mate.
I suppose I am whimsical for the days of easier production and banging out the titles but we have to face facts. Games as massively polished and detailed as TLOU2 or RDR2 - we want them, they're incredible, but oh boy do we ever have to be super patient for them.
Personally I feel if game development peaked with UC3/TLOU and cycles were still 2-3 years, we just might be better off as a whole. But gamers always want more - more graphics, more...
I would assume it's already half done, since it's been 4 years since their last game and they were producing 2 at a time with 2 teams before. I know there was the fiasco waste of time on the multiplayer and I remasters but come on ND, you even gonna get one full game out for this entire generation??
If this means more people buying it, more sales, and more big support (at very least for VR modes in tripA flatscreen titles) then this is obviously a very good thing, for VR as a whole. Obviously.
What is this in reference to? Just felt like throwing it out there?
You're wrong anyway. It was first released on Sega Saturn, with a simultaneous release on Playstation and MS-DOS following a month later.
Last game literally heavy featured a completely different God of War than Kratos. Each mythology has one. Hell the very first game in the series featured a different God of War until Kratos took over.
Lol you're right about that. It doesn't really make sense to take away 20% of a games score because there's a few button prompts instead of full interaction. And they even defend the mode in the review too, stating they get this is a 3rd person game ported to VR as opposed to 1st, so of course there's going to be some small caveats. If anything, it only makes RE4Rs VR even more impressive.
You made an excellent point actually - using buttons to race through ...
Yeah me too! A response would have been nice tho lol
Haha no doubt mate, no doubt.
Bruh. $135, plus tax.
