I'd hold off buying SSD to be honest, PS3 shows negligible improvement with solid state (I've tried). If the PS4 is anything like its predecessor it's not worth the extra cash. I'm going to wait until other people try it out before I even contemplate it.... That's just my advice of course.
Exactly, It's like people want it valued on It's own merits, which by most accounts would be the story and then when anyone with half a brain calls it out for having a wafer thin, pretentious story suddenly no one gets this high-brow work of genius! Sorry you can't have it both ways, it's either an interactive story or a video game through and through.
I didn't realise literacy and comprehension could be at such great odds with one another! Seriously though, try reading it again you may find yourself surprised.
The reviewer says that in defence of the game, it follows what the reviewer states is one of the games problems, in that it promises choice, but when you choose a different path the end result is inconsequential I.e. Despite choosing differently to a previous play through the result is more or less the same. Then it reads 'but choice is wildly overrated in video games'. Context is everything dear boy.
Shouldn't the article read 'Xbox One: 10 Stupid Mistakes Microsoft's Already Made' The XBox one isn't a person.
They're only opinions, I think I speak for most people though when I say I hope you're right! There needs to be more games like this and as much as I like the concept I can't equate my desire for a unique and entertaining game to what i've seen so far of Knack, I can't make that leap.
It's a very pretty game, but the combat looks repetitive and the stages look dull and lifeless. Still I'll wait for the verdict in November
Every hands-on I've seen looks very beautiful, but I can't ignore the barren streets, awkward camera and apparent lack of platforming, looks more like a brawler with very basic combat. I'll wait to read some reviews before I add this to my PS4 games list.
A whole bunch of websites I've never heard of reviewing this game..... weird.
Much of the industry and most N4G users loathe Nintendo, why would they want Nintendo games on their preferred console?? I think if Nintendo goes (that's a big if) they should take their ips with them. It would make them legends, like Elvis, or Buddy Holly.
I have all 3 consoles and a gaming PC and play the PS3 predominantly and I have PS4 and XBox one on pre-order. I have no problem with sony or their playstation business, I just think people need to realise PS4 is a group effort. mark cerny most likely arrived at the PS4 architecture through a lot of research in conjunction with his bosses, developers and the playstation family at large, their are lots of people to thank for PS4!
You think Mark Cerny is single-handedly responsible for the PS4? My comment is simply an attempt to invoke a little perspective here. I'm not trying to rile anybody up, just bringing some common sense is all.
Huh, I figured PS4 was a concerted effort; like R+D, business analysts, industry feedback, a whole bunch of people really. If this guy built PS4, Sony needs to fire some people since obviously they're surplus to requirement
I get gay nightclubs as it provides a safe environment for them, but a games convention! do they feel particularly segregated by regular gaming conventions!?
Whether mario 64 was inspired by croc or not is debatable, but I personally found Mario to be a fuller, richer and deeper experience. Croc was initially fun, but became incredibly repetitive and by extension dull, all too quickly.
Well beyond it's natural death, that's when.
well, certainly the most balanced comments I've read on N4G. So in summary PS4 > God! Am I right kids?
Thank you Sir
Okay you disagree with retailers honouring pricing screw-ups, lets say you're right did Sony therefore, by extension make the right move?
and just so we're on the right page, what are your thoughts on the kneeling and hand-jobs?
How can any console-only gamer play the superior technology card, seriously?
