I'd go as far as to say they should put Gaikai on the PS3, in terms of tech I don't see why the PS3 couldn't stream PS4 games.
I don't know if allowing it would be beneficial however, I mean sure there would be 70+ million potential buyers of PS4 games, but it would also make people not want to buy the PS4 itself.
Not necessarily, the fact that he is a big fan could mean he had extremely high expectations going into Sly 4 and they just weren't met.
Regardless of the reviews, with everything I've seen from Sly 4 it looks like more Sly, and that anyone who enjoyed the first 3 would enjoy it.

While SSB4 may be better than PSASBR, it is to be expected because it's the 4th entry in 13 years.
Also, am I crazy or are you bragging that the 3DS version is going to be worse than the Wii U version? Because we both know the 3DS can't replicate the quality of the Wii U, like the PS Vita can the PS3.
You'll probably be able to connect DS3 via blue-tooth anyways.
I was thinking along the lines of making the K/M standard, allowing them to be used with any game developed for PS4.
I'm not exactly sure of the technology aspect, but with the PS4's increased RAM, and faster Blu-Ray drive, I figured allowing all games to just run off the disk wouldn't be a problem. The reason I even mentioned this, is because it leaves Sony open with the option to release a cheap 4/8/12 GB model again, but this time without the worries of people ...
Yeah, I'm aware of consoles being 'closed', and PC's being 'open', but I think there are steps Sony could take to implement mod support while still staying 'closed', for example, having developers provide official mod-kits with there game like, Unreal Tournament 3, or even to an extent the creation tools of LBP/MNR.
I really like your idea about being able boot your console into Home (as the OS). I think if they were to do it right it could be extremely intuitive and revolutionary.
Also, I was thinking about the Home avatars being the Mii/360 Avatar equivalent, but to be honest I don't like them. What the Miis/360 Avatars have going for them is their friendly vibe, sort of an uncanny valley thing, with the Home Avatars being more on the creepy end.
