Bear in mind, though, that Watchmen creator Alan Moore has given Hayter his blessing on the project. Hayter claims that Moore advised him, "'Look, David, it's your movie, and you do whatever you feel is best for the film. If you ever have any questions, give me a call.'"

...And lots of us have read the trade. It is on the best sellers list.
...the game looks great. I just really wish the controls were better. They updated everything else, and left the controls back in 2005. Unfortunately, the only thing the demo sold me on, is not buying.
Only if...they issue a special edition cat helmet version!
I think people are "playing it safe" when they pick the normal MGS4 or GTA4. Fallout 3 lets me do what I want, when I want, and always kept me coming back for more (100+ hours). The main quest may be short, but if you play just that you're missing out on a lot.
Both the other "10s" I had to force myself to finish
Blind brand loyalty. I love my PS3/X360 when there's good games to play on them, period.
Sony had the same business practices when they started in the gaming business. They also bought up game studios and titles to strong arm the competition(sega saturn/dreamcast nintendo 64). Where do you think their first party came from? Believe it or not this is a common practice it's called "business".
...just like any other over-hyped form of entertainment (Spider-man 3 says hi).
...and would also like to add; water is wet, grass is green, and the sky is blue. That is all.
If you don't know this by now, you haven't been paying attention.
So we're comparing a physical form of media to a streaming service, in which, you never own the movie. It's like comparing your car to the neighbor kid's bicycle. I go for both, netflix and blue-ray...and I definately don't buy every movie I watch. Oh, and consequently you can rent BD from netflix.
...and "xbots" really.....really???
Great post. That is all.
It seems people forget that competition is good. All because they need to say "mine's bigger or better." I hope MS and Sony are at each others throats for many years to come. That way we truely will get the bigger and better everyone's talking about; because without it we get EA and the madden franchise.
I'm not sure bandwidth will be ready...even by 2009. Not to mention all the people still using dial-up.
Do you think I bought my PS3 because it came with Spiderman 3...HA!
Is that this guy could have paid to have his console fixed, by microsoft, for $80 I think. Not free, but cheaper than $400; and when they extended the warrenty, he would have got a refund. Not saying microsoft did everything right here, but neither did he. You open an electronic product and any chance of a warrent fix goes out the window. Common sense I believe.
Xbox live marketplace is free also. The only thing you pay for is the ability to play with others. PS store is good it just needs a more streamlined organization. It's a little hard to find things.
1up Yours is an audio podcast. And the quote is correct.
That Toshiba makes HD-DVD; and M$ ultimetly wants digital downloads to win?
To think that it won't come to the PS3 in some way, shape, or form.
How do you lose money when you charge $50/year for something that others don't charge for. If anything this should read: Microsoft make tons'o'cash from xbox live.
