Your right if anything piracy helps the hardware sales, PSP has been living off piracy for some time now. As for software sales, that depends how easy it is to get free games, on PC where it's extremely easy there is 10x more piracy, as appose to 360/Wii which is a lot harder.

Yeah, all the best games are either sci-fi(future) or medieval(past). The only good modern games I can think of are military shooters.

2 games? Anyone who has never owned a 360 before would have access to the whole exclusive library that has been building for the last 5 years not just the 2011 line-up.
