See guys, this is why I don't go to IGN. All I did was read a couple of your enraged comments and I knew immediately that this was just another troll article by IGN. Good thing I didn't support IGN by clicking on the link.
My problem with used games at GameStop is that the employees try to shove used games down my throat. I swear last time I tried to buy a new game from there, I spent five minutes more than I wanted to, just telling them that I did not want to buy the game used.
I never said ODST was mediocre. Read my posts again.
I was just arguing that Majora's Mask was more original than you made it out to be and it is. Unlike Ocarina of time, the game doesn't revolve around getting the Master Sword and slashing your way through temples. Instead it revolves around collecting the masks of the three other races and using that to get further into the game. You NEED the masks to beat the game and they are very useful in addition to the standard weapons. ...
I want to play MW2 just so I can level up, get the nuke killstreak and drop the nuke. Yet at the same time, everytime I get on MW2 it ends the same way. Shutting off my PS3 in frustration after 30 minutes and walking away.
Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time are completely different. Hell, many have stated Majora's Mask as being a complete offshoot from the mainstay of the series. That's why you haven't heard people calling them out as the same thing because they are so completely different.
Whereas Twilight Princess has come under fire for being literally the same thing as Ocarina of Time. Same story but with a dog, temples, overworld, characters almost being word for word the same thing. They even ...
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on the forge mode being original in Halo 3. Build a skate park in Tony Hawk 3 was basically the same exact thing, but done five years earlier than Halo 3 and in a skating game.
Edit: @Arnon:
Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask were very different, actually.
For one, Majora's Mask only had four full temples you had to go through before the final boss battle. OoT had three as a kid and seven as an adult. Also, the collecting fairies g...
Pshh, Bungie said they were going to go out with a bang with Halo 3. Two games later and supposedly they are going out with a bang AGAIN?
What will Bungie say next?
Why do you care Jason 360? You don't even OWN a PS3. Also, Move has expanded upon Nintendo's idea, doing more than what the Wii has done and better.
For example 1:1 sword gameplay and moving across a 3D plane.
What has Natal done that makes it superior to the PS3 Eye? Nothing so far.
Lets not forget the SNES Powerglove. THE ORIGINAL MOTION CONROLLER!

It might be a piece of sh!t, but it was first.
Well, that is clearly logical and makes perfect sense, but not to Ubisoft.
Personally, I believe this article is some Ubisoft spin doctor coming in and trying to make their DRM look good. Seriously, the guy went as far as to say that "Ubisoft's DRM is ahead of its time."
I did a little bit of searching on Kotaku because I remember a survey that SCE was having about PSN a while back. Just check out the link and I think it will give everyone a better idea about what Sony is looking into to make a paid service http://kotaku.com/5429592/s...
He is the voice actor for Drake, so yeah.
Looks pretty interesting. I can only imagine how fast this baby would sell at 150$'s
It actually looks like a pretty good game and since when was 7.5 a bad score (as your /s made it out to be)?
Well if they got fired for being unprofessional then they deserved to get fired. I've seen some unprofessional articles on IGN and I'm not talking about reviews. I don't rejoice when people get fired, but when people get fired when they deserve it, I don't feel sorry for them.
Seriously, if IGN was being a truly professional site and putting gamers first, they wouldn't be in the mess they are now.
Man Sony dissing>>>>>M$/ Nintendo dissing. Why? Because Kevin Butler is hilarious when doing it.
Sony has only shown what Move can do. Microsoft has shown what they "think" Natal will be able to do. Sony has had several demos of Move with games that are coming out showing the various capabilities of Move, Microsoft has had two demos that barely reveal anything.
Also, Beans you are out of your mind. How is THIS: http://i43.tinypic.com/2r5c... NOT ACCURATE?
I firmly believe that the GameCritic's review was completely justified and not flamebait. Same goes for Kikizo's score. The Destructoid reviews, however, are 100% pure flamebait.
You know, Heavy Rain seems like an interesting game, but it just is not my kind of game. I commend Heavy Rain for being original and different and mature, but I hope that when Molyneux says that Heavy Rain offers a glimpse into the future of videogames, he isn't referring to every videogame. I'm just not a big fan of QTE and emotional stories just aren't what interest me (I still haven't finished MGS4 and I got it day 1).
I don't think you understand the purpose of this article. IGN made this article in order to enrage fans of God of War in order to get hits on their site. Obviously IGN is pissed that they lost their #1 spot to GameSpot and are now taking their anger out by redirecting to fans of the God of War series.
Even from reading the quote that the guy posted I can see why he was mad. IGN completely misunderstood the Kratos character. Kratos wasn't always an angry guy and if you played the ...
