Jesus, I knew it was only a matter of time until one of the game sites compared the two versions!
So, I bought my PS3 on November 2nd when the 40gb came out. I arrived @ Wal Mart to purchase it @ 6AM cuz for some reason I thought they would sell out fast. Needless to say, they didn't... I know everyone will say just to go with the system you like (and I do like PS3) but Xbox seems to be crushing PS3. I just DO NOT WANT ANOTHER DREAMCAST on my hands. Nothing sucks more than spending all that money on a system/ games, only to see it discontinued.
So here are my pro's and con'...

I'm not sure exactly what they did to the PS3 version in this video but somethings wrong. I viewed that video on the same exact HDTV that I play the PS3 Demo on. The demo on my TV looks better than the XBOX screen on this video. There are no blurs/ bland textures. Whats up?
yeah... and I thought she was hot/ different taste in women I suppose.

I finally understand why the pilgrims left Europe way back when for America. It wasn't for religious freedom, or independence at all! It was because they knew the Uncharted Demo would only work here!
Updates are always nice.... Even if you aren't getting massive features, it's always good to know you have the latest version of whatever the program may be, in this case, the XMB. Not to mention, the fact that Sony is actively trying to improve our gaming experience...... for FREE!
Sorry, 'bout the name, just sounded funny. Anyways, yes you are right that this was my opinion. That's what I said in the beginning. The "fact" I'm referring to is the fact that I think Halo 3 looks "just ok". Yes you are right, I suppose to someone with sub par vision, Halo 3 might look awesome. Alright, typing is boring, time to go play some games!

No matter how much technical mumbo-jumbo you spew from your mouth, one fact remains in my mind..... Holo 3 looks mediocre at best. My friend brought over his Xbox with Halo 3 yesterday. It was KINDA fun but we both commented that the graphics were only "fair". After this I threw in Resistance (which doesn't have great graphics either). My friend was amazed at the difference. I don't usually like getting involved in the 360 vs PS3 arguments, but I had to share this FACT with you. ...
Amazon already sold out once last week... give it time for the second sellout. As for me I went to WalMart this morning at 6AM before work to get mine. The guy said he had just put it in the lock-case before I asked him to pull it out again. Surprisingly I was the only one there for PS3, but i bet their sold out by now....
P.S. I'm supposed to be at work right now butI 've taken a 3 hour lunch to play with my new PS3 ;-D

I wouldn't really say it's unfortunate. I don't even care about this game. The games I want will all be out by Christmas. That's faster than I can afford to buy them.

yeah, along with GT5. Shoulda showed more Drake & Haze. I sincerely hope they rotate songs each time the commercial airs. For one, I hate that song, and 2. it already started getting on my nerves the second time I watched it! Oh well, doesn't matter since I don't get cable.
you know what, I guess it's pretty stupid of me to focus on bad framerates of games I'm not even interested in. All the games I want have no problems! I hope I'm still able to get a 40gb on friday, I have a feeling that model will sell out quick!
would it be for Sony to just include a simple description of what the update includes when prompting for the update? Here's an Example:
"PS3 Update Version 2.00 Available:
Description: Themes, Information Board, and Internet Improvement"
"PS3 Update Version 2.01 Available:
Description: Uhm... just wait for 20 minutes while we download/install it, we'll tell ya later on our website...."
