Thank you can’t believe there comparing it to ff13 2 etc that was only because square had huge financial troubles so they made a tone of sequels to cash in, ff15 was a game they also made out of what was complete for it at the time , basically they had no money left to record any more story cut scenes quests etc , that’s the main reason they had to add to it after it went on sale, this ff7 remake really is a new start for them it’s by far there best game since ff10 hands down,

Yes some similarities but ff13 story was crap the whole game was one big on the rails approach , no towns , side quests , empty the characters were soo shallow and the writing was abismal ,the battle system was cool yes but was far too automatic the only similarities here is the speed and stagger, that’s it the battle system was the only good thing about ff13 but I really think they did it one better in ff7 remake
Some people just moan for the sake of it to be honest , even a lot of the most basic quests tie into the story in some way emotionally or story wise the whole game is full of emotion from start to finish I actually can’t believe how great a job square has done I really am blown away it’s by far there best since ff10

Thank you couldn’t agree more the original story is there just expanded on with much better character development than the original had by far it’s basically more ff7 what’s not to like, there is some really good side quests ,ofcoarse there is some standard too but even some of them have a part to play further on the story so there all worth it in the end never mind the gear u get also for doing them, not once the whole way through did I ever feel bored

Yeah the Sony’s game studios have took 20 years to get to the level there at in developing games, all Microsoft studios are new even Phil Spencer said himself it will take years for them to be atop level we’re talking 10 plus before there at the level of naughty dog etc,
