Its just a single person's opinion. With UC2 there were also a few lower scores but that didn't stop me from playing the hell out of it. Because telling a good story is becoming less and less important. It is becoming the norm to toss you a half@$$ed SP that is basically a 3-5 hour tutorial for the MP. So they can't be bothered to make a decent or coherent story. Therefore those of us who like a well written story or an edgy cutscene are slowly being ignored. Wow. Very well said. I agree. UC3's linearity serves its cinematic purpose and it is no more or less linear then many other games. In Gears 3 you basically run in a straight line to the next fire fight. You can't hang, swim, climb or go beyond the set path. Also I never found much pleasure in finding dog tags either. Ummmmm......I am not sure what planet you come from but it happens all the time. Many games scrape by without any reviewer pointing out the flaws in the game and give it a perfect score. Many games have tons of glitches, bad story, bad characters, bad dialogue, short campaign, stupid AI and crappy endings but reviewers gladly hand them 9s and 10s without blinking an eye.

I agree. NO more passes for half @$$ed SP. Either you make the whole thing properly or face the concequences. If people think UC3 should be penalised for a less then stellar MP then BF3 should get penalised for less then stellar SP. Why should they get a free pass and others don't?

No hardcore gamer really cares. No matter how everyone fights to say Kinect is the greatest thing ever, it isn't practical for hardcore gamers.
