Metroid Prime and Ocarina of Time would like to have a word with you.
God, I really hate it when people bring up the "Seal of Quality" thing as if they know what they're talking about. You don't. The Seal of Quality was only used to let people know that the game would run on a Nintendo console. That's why it could also be found on the McDonald Land/M.C. Kids McDonald's NES video games. Know your facts before you start acting like you know them.
This Fall/Winter is going to be extremely hard on my wallet when it comes to Wii games. Little King's Story, de Blob, Wario Land, Tales of Symphonia, and I'm sure there're more that'll pleasantly surprise me.
This game looks beautiful and fun. A real treat for me. I love 2-D platformers.
Pretty weak, man.
No Little King's Story? For shame. For absolute shame.
I always was. GTA + handheld = lolfail
To the above list we have 3 unannounced titles. We will announce one title (Wii) at the end of this month and announce the other two (DS and Wii) at TGS in October. All three are co-published with Marvelous Entertainment USA. (editor's note: one of these titles has since been confirmed to be Muramasa: The Demon Blade (Oboro Muramasa Youtouden by Nintendo Power)
Jesus Christ oh hell yeah :D
Very good news! I wasn't looking forward to this game when information first started pouring out about the game, but now I can't wait to own it! Looking forward to picking it up soon.
Oh my god. That is absolutely pathetic.
A company is LAUNCHING with 11 new, GOOD titles for the Wii? I call shenanigans. I'm expecting another Popcorn Arcade, and if I get anything more, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
Red Steel is trash. Metroid Prime 3 is a great example of Wii controls, and I hear Metal of Honor Vanguard 2 is aswell. I've never had a problem with aiming the Wiimote at the screen. You just rest your hand on your lap. It never made my hand tired, which leads me to believe that people that bring up this argument either have limited use of the Wiimote, or have never used it. Dual-analogue is not precise. This is fact. This is why console FPSes have auto-aiming. Whether the Wiimote is more pr...
Looks beautiful and very intriguing. Never heard of the Monster Hunter series before I first heard speak of it coming to the Wii, so I'll definitely be looking into it. Looks VERY interesting, and gorgeous.
Wow, am I the only one that thinks that this game would be perfectly suited for the Wii? I totally agree with those that think Monster Hunter 3 should be available on 360 and PS3 aswell, but this game just seems perfectly suited for the Wii. Also, pointer controls are way better than dual analog for FPSes (especially better than the PS3's dual analogue).
lol @ all the butthurt
Troll preview. Every other site has high expectations for this game, and their hands-on previews have only stated good things about the game, so why would this seemingly-uninformed preview rate the game as 1/5 on an "expectation-o-meter" ; or whatever it was. It's stupid, and trollicious.
Kirby > Fatal Frame. Fact.
Personally I think the topic should be renamed. I think the following is the most interesting quote in the article, as many people speculated many of the key members that left Retro did so because they didn't want to make another Metroid game: "Personally, I would love to work on another Metroid game," said Keller. "I have been in love with Metroid for years. We had a chance to recreate a game that was created way back when. That was awesome."
Err... or 1 in the number of people participating? Maybe even more.
Love how great Wii titles like Wario Land and de Blob always get ignored. There's never a Wii game that isn't a "highlight" unless it has Mario or Link in it,
