Well to be honest, I didn't plan on using these anyway like they are intended to be used. Was just going to treat them like figurines and nothing more.
I assumed there would be some type of limitation like this considering the figurine itself holds data, so I guess it probably wouldn't be able to hold much data or be able to be used with any and every game that can use it.

Well if people actually read the articles instead of just the titles, you might have noticed the previous article never stated anything about online co-op, nor did it even say online multiplayer.
It just said there was a mode in which you could play online and that could mean anything really. It could be something as simple as player scores, we don't know.
I agree that Nintendo should have something like PS+ or Games with Gold but I don't want to see it like EA plans to do it.
It just isn't as flexible.

I really don't understand how people can even compare this to PS+ or Games with Gold, they offer you more than just their specific games and with PS+ it has quite a bit of value in the terms of all the different games they switch out and the absurd discounts on even brand new games.

Mario Kart 8 works just fine and that can get pretty hectic sometimes. Seeing it has been in past Dynasty Warrior games on lesser hardware it doesn't really make sense that the Wii U couldn't handle it.
I really hope it isn't something stupid like beating scores of peoples ghosts or something along those lines, I really hate that. Shovel Knight is awesome but the online part was just stupid.
Sadly I am fearing just that because when you say "local co-op will be the only form of multiplayer" I guess that is pretty specific in saying, that is the only multiplayer aspect of the game. So it is bit worrisome.

I've always thought the 3DS has better everything in terms of functionality, the Wii U OS amazingly is slower than the 3DS's and on top of that lacks so many convenient little features that the 3DS OS has.
One example, just pressing the X button to close a game after pressing the home button, but nope not on the Wii U. Such a simple feature is not there and you are forced hit the close software button which makes it a longer process than it is on the 3DS.

Nintendo and patches? Besides so many great games that could have online co-op, them and taking forever to patch games is a problem I have with Nintendo also.
The only time they seem to patch much is when it absolutely breaks the game, other than that they never update anything enough. While everyone else you get updates all the time to fix little things here and there or improve the game but not with Nintendo.

I don't agree. Every idea you mention would make races more unfair.
1. If coins were only on the track, people trailing others would be at a huge disadvantage, many times if you're trailing close you won't get any coins because of the person in front of you does first.
2. If there was a higher limit and greater speed increase due to coins, it would be once again completely unfair due to racers who are front runners or start in first.

I am almost 100% certain the game will be exactly like the trailers suggest. It isn't like any of the trailers are misleading, they are always of gameplay.
