Just because you put IMO, doesn't make it true. How have they dropped the ball exactly? More cars, more tracks, night racing, more competitors, online, and damage. And what in this article compares GT5 to Forza 3? I'm pretty sure I didn't see anything about Forza. Of course it will be very different, I just hope at E3 they give a release date and show us some sweet new videos.

Why does a great story have to abide by the laws of the real world. If you want to pick out some things that are unrealistic in the story first thing that comes to my mind are the giant mechs with nukes or the war going on where the big robots that sound like cows are jumping over buildings. What may be completely ridiculous in the real world can be completely normal in a game. Yes, the story isn't perfect and the story can be corny, and unrealistic in parts, that doesn't mean its bad. Really? I mean I know it isn't exactly simple but a train wreck. MGS is one of the few series that if you miss one of the games then you won't get the same feeling as someone who has played 1-4. Playing MGS4 without playing the other ones would be a complete train wreck in the story department but if you've played the other ones you will have a very different view. Plus the future MGS games will continue adding to and completing the story. MGS's story isn't meant just for enjoyment, its there...
But you have to remember technology is always growing and getting better and cheaper. The 3D TVs will go down in price and if people continue exploring ways to use 3D, the way it gets used in games, movies, and even TV will improve. Right now its still all trial and error, but in a couple of years it could be huge. Just give it time, in a few years Halo Around could be using it. :P

I can see where he is coming from. Whether the game was good or not doesn't matter, he made the game and its not cool that one person can buy it and more than one person can get it. On the other hand it is very useful for people who have multiple systems or just want to keep the code in case of having to get new systems. I agree with Gillri though. I'm not saying one is going to be better, but Halo Reach will be out sooner and if people like whats in the beta, which they probable will, people will be going nuts. Plus I'm sure they will have Reach at E3 to play. I also think that Reach will sell better and come on, Halo = Xbox. Its not a bad thing by any means and its not like the other games are small and insignificant, but it is in my opinion, the biggest franchise on the 360 is halo.
Another great game that more people will get to play. I've never been a big fan of the series because I suck at stealth games, but after seeing reviews I can't wait to play it.

Don't blame the Developers for over hyping games. Its not their fault when a game like this or GOW, Halo, or etc. get hyped up. When developers say they think their game is going to be great its to help get sales but most articles aren't about devs hyping a game, they are usually from game sites/shows/magazines. If you have to blame someone then blame the people who come on sites like this and before a game comes out they say its going to be GOTY.
Religion is definitely a taboo for some. You even dare make a crack at a certain religion and that religion's followers will go off. Even if the game isn't as good on 360 as it is on PS3 that's not what this article was about. No, I haven't played the game, but I wasn't the one saying this game was garbage though. Like I said, the article is saying if you have both systems the PS3 version has better loading times. This article isn't about Japanese game ports. Its about the slow loading times on this one particular game on the 360.
See the problem with your comment Mr. Crabs is that you implied that the game was not any good. The article has nothing to do with whether the game was good or bad, it simply states that 360 version has very slow loading times and because of it the game isn't selling. Its simply saying if you have both systems probably go for the ps3 version over the 360 version, not that its More garbage from Japan.
After seeing just a few trailers, screen-shots, and now a 12 minutes of the game, which I wasn't playing, I completely change my mind. GOTY hands down. ME2 and GOW3 aren't even close. :P

Yeah, I was looking forward to it, I couldn't get through the demo, I'll probably rent it and grab a few trophies. I don't think LBP was over hyped at all, It sold a couple of million copies, won all types of awards including some GOTY's, and many people still play it online and have made some levels that rival the story levels.
It looks fun, still not completely sold but it looks like it could end up as one of the best this year.
I agree that gaming has definitely become mainstream but I don't think the line between hardcore gamers and casual gamers are that far apart. Look at games like Halo Reach, CODMW2, Gran Turismo 5, and etc. These games sell/will sell millions but hardcore gamers and casual gamers alike will definitely play them.
