I didnt buy my PS3 for Multi Plats, I bought it for the exclusives that were availible and Sony is doing more than enough to keep me happy. Thats not to say that I dont buy multi plats for it though. Hell, I also have a 360 and I'm STILL getting the PS3 version of GB because its the system I enjoy using the most.
I was prepared for more Itagaki LOLZ but no dice. At any rate, its nice to see a kinder Itaki San from time to time, I just hope he doesnt go over board with teh kindness.

My guess is that it wont be as good as GeOW or even on the same level. I just hope they get close enough and deliver a solid product.
Some things are more blatant and I'm telling you guys that this game is a Gears clone. Sure there will be some elements that arent in Gears but there will sure in the hell be ALOT of elements that ARE found in GeOW and this is coming from a Certified SDF 5* General(and damn proud of it).

However, Quantum looks to borrow HEAVILY from Gears. I DL'd the vid from PSN and noticed that even the icons that prompt you to jump over cover, take cover, etc look just like Gears.

I was just about to but Prototype last night. I just finished inFamous on FAMOUS and though this would be a good follow up after I beat inFamous on well.... INFAMOUS. I read the ign review which made me hold off, then the install issues surface and now another mediocre review.
Technical install issues and luke-warm reviews have resulted in a no purchase. Guess I'll just wait for Crackdown2.
