I'm going to cave and buy this game today. It's a curiousity: I genuinely can't tell if I'll like it or not, after reading the reviews. The length is not a concern so I'd like to see which camp I'll be under after playing it
Yeah actually I wouldn't mind Dishonored 2. Currently repaying dishonored 1 on my pc
also cancelled my preorder, I have a feeling this will be found in the used games bin fairly quickly anyway
I'm still keen to try this game despite the bad reviews. The jury is out if it is value for money, but hey I put down 60 for it so I'll be the judge of that!
I think he means value for money , considering this game doesn't have replayability I think it's fair waiting for a price drop. I myself am not even sure that I want to get this day one anymore.
Please just make it a retail release FFS, I'm worried with this high development costs they're going to throw in all these micro transactions in there with the inevitable pay to win
Disappointed with the reviews. I might pick this up still, but luckily Dyin Light releases here next week, as I'll be evidently finished with this game by then :/
Ah goodie, I enjoyed The Lord of the Hunt I won't mind this to get me back to my favorite game this gen so far
So then it's actually better than Ryse at 65 :p
Reviews are all over the place, looks like it's the type of game for the individual to decide if they want to play this or not.
Great review boss! Hopefully we have another massive Sony exclusive IP series in the making
Yeah I did! Too late to edit it, but to clear it up: I intend to keep this game and play it again, thanks for pointing it out
I want this! Why?
Just cause!
Sell it afterwards? I see no reason to keep it and play it again many months down the line, I have done that with some games I have completed before !
I think people assume that because of the mind blowing graphics!
ANd from what Ive seen the cutscenes look the same as actual gameplay (could be wrong). How many times in the past have we been amazed by a games trailer, only for it to turn out much different because they showed a cinematic cutscene that wasnt running from the games engine? This looks like a welcome buccing of that trend!
Well promising scores so far
15/20 from a french site
8.9/10 from a German fan site
7/10 from Falcon punch
and 9.5/10 from Gamepur.
These are all lesser knowns, but I guess in most of these cases it's safe to say they bought their own copies and have no influence from the developer. Of course interested to see how the gamespots and the IGNs score this. Also want to know why Gamepur is banned?
Looking good for the Order so far
I know what I am expecting for the Order 1886, as the many of the people who have been following it, though.
People have been criticisng the black bars:, we know it has black bars, we now it's linear, we know it has QTEs! We're paying for a cinematic game, I'm fine with 5$ an hour worth of content (I apply that kind of yardstick for other forms of media too eg a 2 hour movie is 10 dollars) If you are unsure I reccomend waiting for reviews
The only thing these guys did wrong was make this a PS$ exclusive. I suspect the level of hate towards this game would have been cut in half had it been multiplatform.
But thats how it goes, the level of rivalry between fanboys has reached unhealthy levels, we saw it for Titanfall. Sadly it may continue for the likes of Quantam Break, Scalebound, Bloodbourne etc. All these games look promising and it's sad that so much energy is expended towards trying to crucify these exclusives,...
Looks like the game is selling well got the last copy in the store
