Because SOny, Microsoft and Nintendo make money from game sales it's not solely dependent on hardware sales (which until current gen previously was actually sold at a loss). It only makes sense for all 3 concerned to invest money in games so that they make even more in return.
Dying Light's good fun, picked it up over the weekend. really enjoying the parkour and the skill system. ANd night time mode really rustles my jimmies!

Well, personally I don't care if my money goes to Sony or Microsoft. they are just big corporations to me, and this gen my preferred console just happened to be ps4 (x360 was mine last gen), that's not to say I won't look into xbox depending how Quantam Break turns out and especially that dragon game by platinum games. Yeah ,was ready to buy it on steam until I saw the user reviews were mixed. To me that means ignore the game it's rubbish. And that's what I did

Well that certainly lives up to the Xbot tag innit? Last gen I bought a X360 first , because it clearly was the better option, I did eventually get a ps3 though, this gen I chose PS4 on launch because it clearly was the better one. I dont think I'll ever get a Xbox one though as most of the titles are on PC as well, I'd rather have a juiced up PC
Sony can sell alot of consoles if they push a JRPG bundle consisting of Persona 5, Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy type zero for holidays 2015, assuming they are all released by then.
