Agreed not enough variety to warrant a 4/4.5, good game maybe even very good but definitely not great

Possibly, would only be putting exclusives on system and already have 2 Blu-ray players, not sure how big a percentage of the market would go for it though.
The obvious choice is drop Kinect.
I'l take a cheaper X1 without a Blu-ray drive, already have a PS4 with one and another in the bedroom, cert don't really need another.
Dropping Kinect would be my preference but if this way matches the PS4 price then it's all gravy, only thing is this surely must proper piss off the loyal early adopters.
If keeping Kinect then surely make it white along with the console,which looks much sexier than the black model imo.

I won't believe that Sucker Punch actually managed to put online multiplayer into this game without seeing it. But well, we still don't know about 90% of the game 2 months before release ...so...

Don't think it means they are abandoning Kinect, but with giving devs an extra 8% to do with what they will they are certainly running the risk of allot of devs choosing to ignore Kinect
Of course they are important, if they were not then devs wouldn't bother their backsides trying to make a game look as good as they possibly could, they would reach a certain standard then focus the rest of the time optimizing everything else.
They are however far from the most important aspect.
I get what your saying and personally I didn't care about the minor differences last gen, had a PS3 and a 360, don't care about it this gen have a PS4 now and plan to get an X1 at some point this year.
But can imagine how annoying it must have been for a PS3 only owner having to listen to it for every major 3rd party game for almost a decade.

I agree all the poking at the X1 having the slightly inferior 3rd party games is getting a bit tiresome, but the MS fanboys can't really moan about it as they spent around 8 years acting like it was the most important thing in the world.
Nothing wrong with the pricing as long as they have plenty of maps.
I would rather have say BF4 with the extra maps that comes with the likes of premium and have the campaign scrapped.
