I wish Microsoft would stay quiet about Scorpio... It always seem like we're waiting for something great and never quite get there. Sony has been releasing amazing game after amazon game and we're going to see as many articles about Microsoft greatness coming in the distant future... We get it... Scorpio will rule the world and enslave us all. It will be soo powerful that it will make nuclear bombs look like a box of kittens. Scorpio games will be soo impressive that 9 out of 10 brain...
If I hadn't platinum Horizon I would've dropped Zelda like a hot potato. I'm taking my time with Zelda, I'm in no rush (plus I have a massive back catalog of games also) Hopefully when I get strong enough that it will get better.
Maybe Zelda remaster on Switch 2 will be worth it.
Most definitely! I was playing horizon on my Pro on a 4k TV and going from that to Zelda was like me going back to ps2...The way people talked about Zelda beauty you would think it was on par with Horizon.
Horizons combat is outstanding and a blast just going around the map hunting for parts. (challenging when you're not used to it or properly prepared)

Lol! Having a big tv is a blessing and a curse. Played hours of just cause 3 on my 46" tv and then bought my new 65" tv and started playing and couldn't believe how crappie it made the game look... I noticed allot more of its downfalls...
I find wearing sunglasses helps with the jags and makes you look cool at the same time.
After getting my platinum for Horizon zero dawn, playing Zelda on my 65" 4K TV was a major downgrade... I know people love zelda (I'm enjoying it soo far) but when you're playing a jaggy game like this on a 65" tv it really brings out its downfalls... I'm not seeing this beauty that people are talking about... Maybe playing it on the switch handheld or a 40" tv it looks better and you don't see the jags, but trust me they're there.

Definitely makes the game pop on my 4k TV. Truly impressive (you're going to have to grind the first 6 hours since it's pretty tutorial story frontloaded) after that the game truly opens up
I haven't really noticed any issues since day for me on my Pro... Platinum it today.... Now I guess time to move on to Zelda...
Don't get me wrong I'm a massive The Last of us fan. Bought it day one on ps3 and ps4... I'm just concerned is all. Uncharted 4 was a good game, not great. That doesn't mean uncharted 4 wasn't of highest quality and technical marvel on the ps4. It's just that it didn't push the same buttons it once did on ps3 (personal opinion)

I'm afraid The Last of us is going to be mediocre.. I'm on media blackout till release and will be buying it day one, but I'm afraid it won't ring the same notes. Anyways can't wait and hoping for the best.

Eventually ps now will be the standard, but for now home consoles have a place and a large customer base.

Personally his score is a tad low. Personally from the little I've played I would score it a 8.5, 9. I can totally see how some would get drawn in and score it higher, but it's not without it's flaws and I agree with Jim for most. . Definitely worth checking out if you own a switch or Wii-u, but I wouldn't have rushed out to buy it day one if I didn't get an amazing deal with Amazon.
