I love how during Microsoft E3 conference that game pass woman came on stage and told the world that they're spying on its users, gathering information so they can pre download games on their Xbox.... 😳 Not important when cross-play is do or die right now. Lol
It's even more embarrassing when that person doesn't even know that's what they're doing.
I remember last year Gaas and Microtransactions was the enemy and now they're the victims and Sony the single player game factory is the enemy.
They know what they have and they like for the games to do the talking. I remember everyone was hating on Spider-Man after last E3, calling it a QTE fest, not open World, won't come out for another 3 years etc.. Sony played it cool for months, then the big game informer preview came out and silenced all the haters. I'm just wondering when people will give Sony the same respect they give Nintendo. Nintendo shows a logo and people go nuts without question, but Sony constantly has to rem...
To be honest, I think it's time for sony to be more vocal. They were at one point, but were deemed "cocky" by the gaming "journalists", so they changed and basically let the games do the talking... Fast-forward to now and journalists claim they don't talk enough, they only show games and that's not enough.
It's a hard balancing act to be proud of your work and talking about it without looking cocky. Microsoft on the other hand talk about...
To be honest I'm more impressed with those switch ports of Doom & Wolfenstein than a developer taking advantage of more power.
Exactly, having new studios or un announced games is the same thing as having Draft picks in a sports league. On paper it looks promising, but if you make the wrong selections you're left with a poor player.
Right now Microsoft track record on game quality is fairly poor. (especially this year with Sea of thieves and state of decay 2) so on paper the future looks bright, with 5 draft picks, but their scouting staff is junk, so I'm not expecting 5 breath of the wilds...

I might be more of a Sony enthusiasts, but I was always a fan of Halo and 343 isn't doing the name justice. Maybe you're soo filled up with koolaid that you don't care where it goes, as long as there's a Halo badge on the box?
Why don't they start with a great game first? 343 is barely competent enough to make a video game, and the worst part of their games is the story and we now get a show from that... I guess milk that cow before it's all dried up.
Thing needs a real price drop in Canada. It sells for almost the same price as a ps4 pro and is more expensive than the iPad (2018)...as a family man myself, I would put that money towards an iPad instead of a switch (especially since games are 100$ each)

There's nothing wrong with showcasing your game in the best possible light but... I'm referring to the facts that they only talk about the One X experience, pretend like the other 2 don't exist in the odd chance that Joe Blow doesn't realize it and buys an Xbox one S expecting one X results.
If graphics is all that matters to Xbox and its enthusiasts, than Ps4 & Pro are both better options than the S.

Microsoft has truly abandoned the one S... It's apparent in the language they use and its apparent in the actions they take. If you're not in on the X, you might as well be playing on playstation.

I'm not sure Microsoft will ever realize that 4k doesn't make a mediocre game great. A great game is great no matter the resolution.
You can't snap your figures and make a masterpiece, but you can put lipstick on a pig in 4k and call it a day
