As oppose to zombie stats?? This one is a public store and using there accounting system to show there unbiased data. Sony or Microsoft didn't tell Amazon to say how many units they have in stock.
So this not a rumor. PS4 is outselling X1 by a wide margin. And judging from the graph, it's more than 3 to 1 when you account the slope and the multiple skus. Just from my estimates on the slopes of the line, the ratio is actually clo...
Lost planet 1 on 360 100,000
Lost planet 2 on PS3 200,000
Armored Core 5 on PS3 240,000
Armored Core 4 on 360 20,000
Mind you those are more centered around mechs and made by a Japanese developer.
Home-Console games generally don't sell well at all. The game has to be really specific like a MGS, Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy. Armored Core 5 is the only exception but that came late on the PS3 with a respectable install base.
I said the word "if" you made the wrong decision. So I wasn't explicitly saying definite.
And you said "I" had fun with the Gamecube. That's an opinion. More people had more fun with the PS2. I owned the PS2 and Gamecube too in that generation.
People forget that both systems basically require paying for online service which almost for certain is gonna only allow me to own one system for almost the entire generation. Once I'm older and settled down with more money then I can get the X1 to play the exclusives.
For most gamers they're only buying one system. Not all gamers are familiar with certain exclusives.
It's even the case for this generation. Most gamers either own the 360 or PS3...
Well NG3 was pretty bad, but I welcome any hack/slash game due to the lack of quantity for this genre.
Yep Square Enix faltered last generation.
Will they come back? No
Too many things working against them. The casual gamers are either sticking with the Wii(and not really playing it) or getting the better motion technology from PS4 and X1.
X1 is $500 so there's no real system seller. Remember when PS4 was $500 and $600. It wasn't until MGS4 came out and even that wasn't a huge system seller. For one month I think the PS3 sold 1 million and the next month it pretty much came back to normal.
Bayonetta Sigma 2 for X1 and PS4
Sony not being there is not a bad idea since VGX doesn't draw the attention of many people. They held their cards for bigger trade shows where the media will hype their announcements and games.
On the flipside Nintendo isn't at TGS. TGS is a much bigger event than VGAs. TGS is where Sony surprisingly needs to be better. Last generation the Japanese didn't buy that many PS3s. It's time for Sony to prove to the Japanese that they need the PS4 prior to launc...
He looks down-z like a white version of William Hung.
In what context..? Nintendo would say "huge difference". To us gamers the numbers tell the same story. Numbers are low and the only meaningful number I see is December 2012. That accounted for roughly 30% of the sales alone.
Not really.. Let's see you newbs actually guess half as close..
November 2012:
450K prediction -> 425K reality
25K over-predicted (-5.55%) CLOSE ENOUGH
December 2012:
675K prediction -> 463K reality
212K over-predicted (-31.41%) BAD GUESS
January 2013:
125K prediction -> 57K reality
68K over-predicted (-54.40%) BAD GUESS
February 2013:
80K prediction -> ...

Fine you say AMAZON, I say COSTCO. Clearly two different things are happening. Also why is the gap getting wider. Just give the benefit of the doubt to sources. I gave you the benefit of the doubt to Amazon despite it not having numbers to back it up.
At the end of the day PS4 sales gap is widening. Meaning Sony is supplying more PS4s. Never said X1 will fail right now. I said Sony will gain major market share. I said 3:2 early on and then 2:1 by the en...
It's the law of diminishing marginal returns. Extra $1000, really worth the double the lines??
Yea that's about right. So much for the articles and people saying WiiU will be the biggest seller in the holidays among the current-gen systems.
No point because they will be sold in negative 30 seconds. Best Buy employees know what a hot item is. They will tell their friends to buy it.
The amount of games fits my needs thus far. A 3 week old system with 2.5 million sold doesn't agree with you.
You're giving up because you can't back-up your statements with facts. Consumers vote with their dollars. PS4 breaking sales records. Clearly it's a viable option for gaming.

See you on PSN in a few years when you finally decide to buy a PS4.. lol
And from the graph the ratio is actually closer 7 to 1. They are referring to the PS4 launch edition only when they say 3 to 1. Just do the math yourself.., take the X number over the y number for each line.
