lol you’re implying it’s some kind of conspiracy theory? when i played this game in december on ps5 it was a complete joke of a video game , AAA or otherwise. background textures were literally 2D and cars and textures would respawn if you turned the camera around. how can you justify the state this game was released in? and the bugs aside it was still a mess. maybe a game is just slated because it’s a steaming turd?
agreed, none of the videos have done a good job in showing if but i think you've just gotta get lost in the story and world and it'll all come together

this is why i really hate open world games in general. i find the constant barrage of extra thigns to do annoying because my OCD kicks in and i feel im missing content but also dont wanna play the same game (super repetitive) for 60+ hours
i think thats what i like about it. most MMOs are too flashy or straight up ugly. wow has such a simple art style that ages well imo.

I do agree that I miss the sense of exploration and the world from fallout 4 - outer worlds doesnt make me want to explore randomly as much, i find im checking my journal and fast travelling more which I hate. the loot also doesn't feel very meaningful but honestly i think WoW is one of the only games that nails it
havent read the article but i didnt personally get that into it. the combat was average as hell imo which kinda killed it for me, and never got into the progression
yeah i never got into it, never understood the hype. didnt have the magic of the old ones but i appreciate the sense of discovery in it i guess

Agreed. Sad to see how little these games challenge their genres / the series. I know people like Borderlands 3 because its more of the same but for me thats a cop out. the humour is stuck in 2008 and yeah the gunplay is fun but the story is lacking hard.
