I agree 100%. I have all 3 of these consoles. An X, a Pro and a Switch and the ONLY one I ever play is my X. 98% of my games are multiplatform. I have 9 PS4 exclusives that I have already beat and haven't touched for months if not years. I have 12 Xbox exclusives in which 5 of them I still play and they are all 6 months old or older. I have a couple Switch exclusives I dont really even care about. And the rest of my 600+ games are multiplat which all play best on my X. Between that...
Apparently it didnt hurt MS much at all. Companies actually lose money when consoles are sold. MS has made billions of dollars this gen with xbox live and game pass. MS is doing just fine. They expected the X to have the least sales of the 3 xbox sku's.

Sony games have gotten to similar imo. God of War was their best game this gen and even that isnt my favorite. Spiderman was boring and repetitive. PSVR is what held Sony to a B for me.

Thats a great analogy! And I agree PS has some great games! But Xbox does have franchises that people obsess over so to an Xbox only gamer(not me) having Halo, Gears and Forza completes them. The PS5 is not releasing until 2021 the earliest. They may mention it in 2019 but its definitely not. There are too many games in development and while sure those games could be launch ps5 titles but the user base would be too small to take expensive exclusives and make them for a new console. Its just not coming out any yr soon.
