The ps3 at the 600 dollar launch price was also a 'great deal' given the prices for standalone blu ray players at the time.....and how'd that work out? This is a niche product that will sell very well initially with all the drooling tech enthusiasts but make no mistake this isn't even close to being a tide turner. I would drag out this gen as long as possible. Have a ps4 mockup on standby just in case Microsoft jumps the gun into next gen but with how hot the ps4 continues to be I wouldn't toy with next gen until momentum starts to die down.
