If I were rockstar I would just be sitting back, relaxing and chuckling at the unstoppable sales of GTA 5. Why the hell would they be worried about their reputation or putting out another game when they have a LAST GEN game that continues to outsell new games and has outsold every current gen game? Gamers only have themselves to blame, rockstar is just making brilliant business moves.
Beyond was ok, nowhere near as good as heavy rain or indigo. I platimuned it on ps3 might run through it on ps4 as well.
Are you out of your mind? All the work sonys studios put into making the console as great as it is and you're suggesting they just give it away? It's nobody's fault but Microsoft for letting xbox crash and burn why the hell should sony pay for it.
A well written story and a bold move like Dom not actually being dead could work great. Fast and furious got away with that this franchise definitely could. Don't change the gameplay that's what made this game unique.

Haven't played this yet I'm sure it's excellent. But a heavily established franchise rebooting is not what makes this statement. Horizon, bloodborne, spiderman, Detroit, day's gone, death stranding, knack, dreams, driveclub, the last guardian, all new franchises just this gen and very well received both critically and by consumers.

Quantic was smart, did exactly what I predicted. Waited for god of war to release and explode before they even attempt getting viral attention back on this game. Loved heavy rain and indigo prophecy I'll definitely be buying this one.

Other than the high console price at launch sony didn't screw up anything last gen. And without that bold move blu ray may have never become the standard for gaming discs. They delivered the games just like they are this gen, people just finally opened their brainwashed eyes
Not gonna happen, sorry. Going episodic threw those chances out the window. This is already too hyped as it is, just having an experience that doesn't leave you thinking 'we waited all those years for that?' will be enough to justify the purchase I suppose.

No it wont. I've dropped physical games altogether so this is right up my alley but there's lots of old timers out there that don't wanna progress with technology and are fighting it. It's not time for a move this bold, that time will come though.
They have absolutely zero incentive to push a new title. GTA 5 could drag into the gen after this and it would still outsell everything that comes next.
