Good god I've never seen idiots so desperate to undermine a game this much. Not having multiplayer is NOT a reason to bash a game if the single player is good enough. In fact typically when multiplayer is a focal point at all its usually an indication that the single player sucked, ironically gears of war comes to mind. These desperate articles just make it more clear to me that there is probably no solid criticism to be had at all, definitely a day one purchase for me.

From what I see it didn't need it, even with the bad release it still outsold everything last year so it seems evolution had the last laugh. Haven't played it yet but everyone who actually bought the game seems to love it so its definitely on my list.

That's what I thought too, the impression I've always had was that downloaded games and physical ones both took the same amount of space on the console after the game installs. Only difference really being that with the physical games the disc needs to be in the console.

Lol its quite funny actually. All the talk about 'indiestation' gets really quiet when Xbox starts going the same route. Just like how uncharted sucked last gen but now that rise of the tomb raider is exclusive for a few months now they love adventure games. Viewing the stupidity is a good way to brighten your day.

Its not a negative thing. People try to use linearity as an insult to cater to their own agenda but bottom line is 90 percent of games are linear. And the less linear you get the more generic of a single player mode the game will be.
Lol of course its permanent, they know they can't compete with ps4 at equal prices. They bumped the price back up for 2 seconds the dropped it again claiming its only temporary to entice people to buy it before it's too late. A very cliche sales tactic.
It took huge heavy hitters to beat naughty dogs last two games for goty, skyrim was needed to beat uncharted 3 and gta 5 was needed to beat the last of us. I don't see anything this year that will contend with this. MGS 5 and Halo 5 will get a peek but mark my words they will not beat this one.

I wouldn't if I was sony, why cut into the profits and ruin a good thing when there is absolutely no competition that is remotely any threat at all. Maybe do bundles of games that have run their course like infamous second son but nothing that results in any significant losses at all because they are in complete control this gen.
The only way Microsoft is 'turning around' anything is with their price cuts. It just got announced that they are lowering the price to 350 again, shows how little confidence they have in their own product. The product simply will never sell itself so being the cheapest and taking huge losses are the only way they'll stay in the game. Makes you wonder how much longer investors will tolerate it.
Good for them, they proved that you can overcome adversity and still have good success. I really need to buy this one I've wanted to play it since launch.

The complete utter stupidity of people trying to bash a game for being 'linear' just gives me a headache. Like it or not that's how virtually every game works, even sandbox games are linear.
