I would agree other than the fact that the damn rubber grips on the joysticks rub off so easily. Love the setup but i definitely miss the ds3 joysticks

Of course they're needed. Rivalry in any sort keeps the fans' passion from going stale. It's been a beautiful thing in sports for decades why should it be any different with video games? Plus as others pointed out, if nothing else pride fuels these companies to keel striving to make the better product which we as consumers can only benefit from.
I only play games for the story, and every GTA story mode was absolute crap, especially 5. You're playing as criminals in every sense of the word and every cliche in the book gets used to make it seem like what's going on in these games are ok. I can appreciate the dynamic size of the games but thats about it. It absolutely boggles me how much both critics and gamers drool over this nonsense.
My wife insisted i give up gaming as an experiment to see if it helped a sickness i have, i did it cold turkey for about 10 months. Longest 10 months of my life....
This is awesome for people who never had ps3, i however will probably skip it unless they offer something really enticing since I've platinumed all four of them already.
My wife would surely support this, but no hobbies are good to relax your mind with. And i guarantee anyone who is against gaming watches t.v. or something equally unproductive

Honestly, not really. While it is story driven the background is very basic. I've played through all six god of war games, 3 was the first one i went through and i personally feel it was the best by far.
Lol why were none of these stupid articles written about GTA 5? Millions had no problem paying full price for that game again just a year later. At least with GOW 3 it was a ps3 exclusive and a lot of people have a reason to get it that never got a ps3

Because gamer society as a whole has Microsoft's number. Only blind loyalists will arrogantly defend the redundant cycle of halo/gears/fable/forza over and over again. Sony has never allowed their brand to become stale, always adding new fresh games and console qualities to keep their product desirable. Meanwhile Microsoft shows zero interest in improving their image and just trys moneyhatting their way to the finish line.
They lost one customer right here for sure. No way in hell im buying a game with 30 dollars in micro transactions that should have been included.
