I'm not really a cod fan, or battlefield for that matter. I don't play online so that portion means nothing to me. I'll buy them when they drop to 25 or lower on psn though. I've picked up battlefield 4, hardline, ghosts, advanced warfare and they're all generic cliche shooters I don't understand whall of a sudden this one is getting so much hate.

Killzone mercenary, uncharted golden abyss, gravity rush, and resistance burning skies were my favs. So sad the vita wasn't more successful it had so much potential
Lol Konami has completely lost their marbles, so glad kojima is doing his own thing now. Maybe one day my dream will come true and they'll sell silent hill to sony so that franchise can get the treatment it deserves
@Imalwaysright that's a harsh question lol. Of course I trust naughty dog, their last 2 games will be remembered as some of the greatest in history. But the last of us is the gone with the wind of video games. Being open ended is what made it so great and a sequel doesn't make sense. Of course I'll buy it day one, get the collectors edition and even buy another ps4 if the make a special edition console. But it's just a very risky move.
You get scolded for saying that around here, but I completely agree. The way they ended the first one was so brilliant and a huge reason it was such an amazing game. Continuing the Joel and Ellie story any further would just put a damper on that.
@Movefasta1993 are you serious? If uncharted 3 was best at anything it was the puzzles. And I don't get this gripe I keep hearing about 'pacing', makes absolutely no sense as a point of criticism. If anything the staggering transitions make the story less predictable and ultimately more intense and climactic.

Uhm other than strictly US sales the 360 was in no way, shape, or form better than ps3. It was soulless, hoisting itself on the growing fame of the halo series then not too long after with the success of gears of war just continued to push those two titles as system sellers without much of anything else. Action without substance means nothing. Hell when it comes to action call of duty is probably one of the best out there. Not to mention 4 had some of the most intense gun battle action sequences of the entire series. I can think of 4 or 5 off the top of my head that were stressful as hell. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but thus far criticism of 4 has been completely grasping at straws.
I completely disagree, the setpieces in 2 were good, but not better than 4, or even 3 for that matter. And I don't understand this gripe about pacing. I'd argue that steady transitions only make a campaign more generic and predictable. And if there's one sure thing 2 can be knocked for wad it was very, very predictable. No shock value and completely anti climactic. The up and down action in 4 contributed to the torn emotions Drake was going through.
All the haters can kiss my ass I liked this game. The cars and driving mechanics were insanely cheesy but other than that this game is gta level.
