An amazon reviewer said that the pro is not compatible with LG oled tvs. If this is legit and can't be fixed with an update that's crap because that's the TV I was gonna buy for this set up.
Did I say it was already dead? This article is comparing apples to oranges. When blu ray launched the standard player costed 1000 dollars, until the ps3 came out at 600. HD tvs were a luxury item as well AND blu ray was competing with HD dvd in the format war. 4k blu ray is resting comfortably with no equivalent competition and the standard player is only 250. Streaming is killing all physical media and only an idiot would think otherwise.
It was smart, it kept the price down. 4k blu ray is a bad investment that won't last. Physical media will be extinct very soon.

Did I say 4k tv? No I didn't. I said 4k blu ray, physical media is bleeding a slow death and 4k blu ray is too little too late.
I'm gonna wait on the pro til I hear good news about oled compatibility. I wanted the 65 inch LG oled with the pro and psvr but I'm not spending that much money until I know it works
