Not much to show for it? The ps3 single-handedly killed HD dvd in the format war and made blu ray the standard. A standard that still holds up today as now xbox back pedaled and started using it as well. Final Fantasy 13 made it very clear how inferior xbox hardware was, needing 3 discs with downgraded specs to accomplish what ps3 did on a single disc. Again I say, the price and year delay were the ONLY reasons the spread wasn't the same last gen ad it is this one.

I'm trying to get into battlefield 1 but so far the campaign is tedious and boring. I'll give it a few more hours but I'm starting to think most of the positive hype was people pissed about infinite warfare and trying to make this one look better.

Try adding sucker punch, guerrilla, media molecule, Bend, insomniac, quantic dream, polyphony, santa monica, kojima, all of which have records of solid games and have existing projects in the works. Go ahead and push aside the redundancy of xbox exclusives for a sec, the reception of almost all except forza (ironically the lowest selling)has been underwhelming I choose playstation because they deliver where it matters.
Open world gameplay has to make sense, otherwise it's a whole lot of wasted time that would have been much better as a linear game. So tired of people looking at linear games as a bad thing, I don't play xbox but if I did I would definitely buy both of these they looked really good.

Uncharted as it stands is one of the greatest franchises in gaming history. Don't taint that by toying with silly sequels. Naughty dog showed us they aren't relying on this franchise to stay alive, think of something new while.continuing with the last of us, we all know it will be amazing.
