Halo 3 is the best multiplayer experience I ever had. It's pretty close to perfection. Gears 2 will be the only real contender for Halo 3.
Does MGS4 need marketing? That franchise has been around for a LONG TIME and has tons of games and should already have a fanbase by now. And Halo 2 also sold near 10 million without any heavy marketing. If you really think Halo 3 is hitting 10 million sold because of marketing than you my friend are just another fanboy throwing excuses.

we have 14.4 million ps3's sold and only about 2.5 million copies of MGS4 sold. That is a very low number. I thought MGS4 was supposed to be Sony's number 1 game. Looks like the majority of ps3 owners don't care about MGS4.

God of War story was sweet but the gameplay was pretty basic and kind of boring. NG2 is easily has the best action gameplay but the story was pretty basic. Some day we'll get a game that perfects both. And I'm kinda thinking it's going to be Too Human.
Beating the game in Master Ninja is one of the most difficult challenges in gaming history. Remember their were only like 5 people that beat the first NG on the hardest difficulty. I love these kind of challenging games. For me NG2 was a huge step up from part one.

Microsoft is just doing what every company wants and that is make money. Halo 3 should be hovering around 10 million sold so it's done its damage. Let some others enjoy it. But if you remember, Halo 2 for the PC sucked compared the xbox.
