Yeah I don't know where these sony fanboys get 4 million sold. It's been revealed by Konami that they shipped 3 million copies of MGS4, and not 4 million. 2.7 million sold with 3 million shipped sounds about right. With 14.4 million ps3's out there that equals about 5.6% of ps3 owners that picked up MGS4. That is a horrible percentage.
Honestly what you said doesn't matter. All it matters is that the 360 outsold the ps3. Just imagine what is going to happen when the real price cut hits but from the looks of it, Microsoft doesn't even need a price cut.

I recommend the Oppo 983 for the best upconverter on the market. Near-hi def. It will give you old standard dvds a huge upgrade.
A brand new standard Dvd is 15.99 at Best Buy. Wait a few weeks and it will go down to about $10-$12. Brand new bluray titles are $26 at Best Buy. And the cheapest I seen them are at $20. And this is the reason why it will more likely be another laser disc. At the time laser disc was the best quality on the market but to expensive for the casual shopper. And those prices never dropped. Same will happen to bluray unless they drop their prices for the casual shopper and not leave it that...
Trophies is just to late. Achievements were their day 1 and has every achievement from every game I played. I'm not going to go back and play all my ps3 games. Trophies is a good idea, but just to late.
Why is a ps3 website worried about a 360 exclusive???
Bluray is a great product but it will never overtake standard. Not till bluray movies come down to about $10-$15 a disc. That might or might not happen. Remember Laser disc was crazy expensive and never went down in price.

I think they are trying to say that this will be Sony's first big seller. MGS4 was only bought by 5.6% of ps3 owners. A killer app is like GTA4 or Halo 3. This might be the first big break Sony gets.

Microsoft is seeing huge profits on the gaming division and is easily going to surpass the total amount of original xboxes. Probably see double the amount. That equals winning!
Sony's ps3 is also selling well and its main gun, the bluray player, is becoming more mainstream. With bluray movies becoming cheaper, the ps3 is just going to gain more interest. That equals a win.

I think that's why a lot of people don't like Halo 3. Because it's a much harder game than COD4. Killing in COD4 is easy and killing in Halo 3 isn't.
Well considering MGS4 only sold around 2.5 million people which equals only 5.6% of ps3 owners, than I can see why Square would want to expand its install base and work for the 360. It's all about the Benjamins.
Fortunately I have a great job that pays me well so I can afford useless crap like this. But like somebody said earlier, this will be a perfect fit in my game room.
Both are great games but Halo 3 takes the cake in almost every area. Better multiplayer. Better competition. COD4 is to easy to rack up kills while Halo 3 you have to earn them. Halo 3 takes serious skill to rank up while COD4 doesn't.
Halo 3 just has a lot of creativity in its map design, weapons, equipment, and vehicles. I LOVE THE MAPS in Halo 3. So unique and screams originality. COD4 is just your basic war shooter with the same maps and weapons as most war shooters....
