mrv is right...i think ppl who play halo are divided into two sections and some even blending from both...on the one side, there are those who just like team based shooters, and other who like the haloverse and the story behind it, and some (like myself) that are from a little of both
xbox's natal is as much a PSeye or eyetoy, as the ps3's gem/arc/lightsaber (or whatever you want to call it) is a wii nunchuck...get over it, if you like it and are excited, then nice to here that, if you dont, then gtfo seriously
i agree, 4v4 live and 5v5 for social matchmaking are perfect, you can actually control everyone and not have it as just a random run and gun frag fest...just like how bfbc2 also now has 4 man squads, cause it just works for team oriented games (and for mlg tournaments)

@flankhim - bfbc2 is only boring if you're playing alone, not joining a squad and not using the mic...oh AND if you really suck at team objective type games and are only good at killing without a purpose
i doubt there is any good player in bfbc2 that completely sucks at mw2
in halo 2, dual wielding made is so that smaller hand guns actually made you a match against opponents with heavier weapons...in halo 3, it was almost useless to be honest
either way, i was always fond of mid range weapons...ie halo 1 pistol, halo 2 br, halo 3 br and halo odst pistol...lol

yea, that was the only thing that stopped me from still playing it today...if firefight had matchmaking, it would be a lot easier for me to find players to play with, sadly it didnt happen
hopefully bungie was using open world exploration and firefight in odst as gaining experience to add into REACH
i have a little under 3 months to get another sub and an hdtv, lol...no way im experiencing this on my current sdtv ahaha
