my problems
1 i couldnt sync my controller to my 360
2 i turned my 360 off and everytime i turned it on, it would freeze on the dashboard screen
the way i fixed my problem
took my 60gb HD and put it on my bros console (for some reason it worked fine on his) and just canceled the download, and deleted it from my memory...then preformed maintenance just in ca...
that, or it could be that halo board game

lmao...so true, but in this case, i was lucky...i was going to get a 60gb 2 weeks prior to the pricedrop, lucky i was on n4g and read the first (atleast the first i was) pricedrop article and decided to wait...phew
forgot where i read it, but i think ms already made a profit with the 360's so the pricedrops dont matter to MS. every unit sold (if MS DID make a profit with the 360's) just increases the profit they make no matter what it is sold at....or am i wrong?

hate to say it, but i believe chasuk08 and SeNiLe911 are right in saying that browse doesnt mean web browser in the xbox360
not saying that it is impossible that there will be a browser in the dashboard update...im just saying that browse isnt the web browser
browse, most likely means, that you will be able to view the different games, movies, music, pictures or whatever category you are in, easily through thumbnails or something of that nature
they do with some games...i think there was one in teh gta IV game, but thats teh only one recently that i know of that came with one
halo wars is a prequel to halo: combat evolved
there can only be one true prequel, but there could be sequels to the prequels before the first (of what ever, in this case halo: combat evolved) halo storyline
just like what star wars did, they made a prequel star wars episode 1...i think it was called, dont know much about starwars...then they made sequels to those prequels, but still before the first starwars storyline...episode 2 and 3 i believe

didnt read the actual article, but if what i know is STILL correct, then yea...the new update is going to have OPTIONAL installing of games to make it load fast (but apparently not that much faster...didnt read that article either) but atleast the disk wont be spinning...i think

its because it is a good and entertaining game...its not the ONLY thing that xbox players are playing, but it is the MOST PLAYED online game
new games come...they get played, but then the games usually reach a peak...with halo and bungie, that peak is rarely reached BECAUSE bungie changes it up by adding a gametype, new or old, every weak...AND bungie changes up the whole playlist every month
now how many other developers are doing that with there game...i cant think...

yea...i agree with xi...the halo story that you see while playing the games ni only a small portion of the actual halo universe...ive read the halo timeline (or atleast most of it) and before whole halo:combat evolved story takes place...they actually have other events that have happened before that...
